When I create a droplet in Photoshop 2025, it creates a folder instead of an EXE file. What is the solution?

Please also bear in mind that the Droplets are still Intel code and may no longer work after the end of Rosetta 2 next year. More than just repairs will be needed.

That is great news, thank you Adobe for finally stepping in with a fix - or at least the promise of one.

I have escalated this issue and asked the team to prioritize a fix for this.

Maybe it will be fixed in PS 636.5 version. I will wait!

You aren't going to get a fix any faster by reposting the same complaint.

An Adobe employee aknowledged this and then Adobe has said nothing. We will whine all we want to. This is the place to do it. If you don't like it you can exit the thread. This is an important feature for many of us and it is not unreasonable to want answers and fixes, neither of which we are getting.

Fair enough @ron53 , you're right and I think this thread has covered every possible angle at this point. I would still say this is worth adding to the known issues page as it's a broken feature vs just a bug. That would save a lot of people time when they start run into the problem for the first time.

I cannot agree more. Adobe has acknowledged the problem. There must be something preventing it from being an easy fix. Constant complaining about does little to get the fix sooner. Everyone who uses droplets is 1) aware that there's a problem, 2) just as anxious as the next person for a fix, 3) is helpless to do anything other than complain about Adobe.

If you don't like Adobe, or feel your workflow cannot exist without droplets, then look for an alternative. Otherwise, be cool and wait for Adobe to fix the issue.

An Adobe employee acknowledged this. Most bugs are not on the known issues page. Continued whining isn't going to get it fixed any faster. Just keeping it real.
