P: PS 26.8 Contextual Task Bar cuts off in secondary display

Hello. The context task bar in Photoshop v.26.8.0 is not fully displayed (looks like it's cut off), the other panels are fine. This bug is observed at a monitor 27" with resolution of 2560 x 1440px, scaling 100%. (this problem was not observed on the monitor 24" Full HD). Changing the settings of the Photoshop interface parameters does not change anything. Resetting the program settings also does not change anything.  System Windows 10 x64 22H2, GPU RTX3050 with the latest driver for now NVIDIA Studio Driver 576.80.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

There’s another thread where this issue has been discussed:

It appears to happen with a secondary monitor with a different resolution. @Sameer K from Adobe has shared the information with the team.

@cindyhl it’s working fine for me with Photoshop version 27.7, try manually resetting the preferences to see if it helps

Nope, still didn’t fix it
It seems to be okay on my smaller screen, but not the one that I actually use for retouching work.

I just updated to Photoshop 27.7, and my contextual taskbar is now partially cutoff

I have tried to uncheck and recheck it in the “windows” tab but it hasn’t changed anything.

Is this a bug?

Check the zoom percentage settings in your system. If you have multiple displays with different resolutions, take screenshots of these settings and attach them so that technical support has more information. I’m not currently experiencing this interface issue in Photoshop 27.7.0 on two displays with different zoom levels but the same resolution.

Same with me. Just noticed that it looks fine with the primary screen, only cuts off in secondary screen.

Me too, same thing

This is also happening to me, seemingly after the last PS update. It cuts off horizontally (first image below)--not sure if this is the same as the original author's experience.

If I click on any part of it, it functions and selects the subject of the image. Then the appropriate contextual task bar appears for Generative Fill (second image below).

This issue persists with different monitor sizes.

I have the same problem with the opposite behavior since the latest update. It seems that the contextual bar is getting a wrong resolution. If I drag it to the other screen, it fixes it (unfortunately that's not the display I use for Photoshop usage).
In addition and TBH, I would really like to have the option to fix the bar position like any other panel. I mean, not floating. Anyway, this last point is off topic.

P.S. Other programs such as Illustrator, InDesign do not have this bug.

I understand that this problem is only with me or no one uses multiple displays and this panel 🙂

Hey, @d1malien. Thanks for adding the screenshot. I can confirm this is a cosmetic failure. I've shared this with the team for review.

Thanks!
