New version of Save for Web with updated UI will not assign presets (JPEG or PNG) to individual slices. Changing the Preset setting now changes the setting for all user slices. So the workaround is to save out the slices for each format needed separately now. Seems like a bug to me, I have been using this workflow for several years.

I also started having this issue on the latest version (27.8). Several issues and regressions compared to the old version. As mentioned, it doesn’t seem to be possible to assign different profiles to different slices. I thought it was working at first but now nothing happens. Like, if I set an indexed format and even reduce the colors, there is no effect on any part of the image.

The window always appears at 0,0 (top left corner) of the screen, regardless of where it was left. And the common keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + or - don’t zoom in or out anymore. Even space bar to pan barely works because an input field is always in focus.

Worst part is there’s barely any workaround. I basically just can’t do this workflow at all until this is fixed.

It seems to have gotten worse.. If I save out selected slices as PNG, and then run it again to save out the remaining slices as the JPG profile, it saves them as PNG instead.
