P: Quick Export not working

Both Export As and Quick Export no longer work for me. Windows 7, latest version.

I wish Photoshop had a simple native save layer function built-in, just like Photoline. Or a simple way to send one or more selected layers to an external web image optimization app like ColorQuantizer and RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool).

I can easily do this in Photoline. Why not in Photoshop? It is quite brilliant to send a selected layer or layer group to ColourQuantizer for optimization. No fuss, and very fast. The Export As dialog in Photoshop is positively lacking in PNG output options.

In Photoshop the latest web export options are slow, and fraught with errors - well, small wonder what with the external dependencies such as NodeJS.

 At least Generator works, which is nice.

Me too. Not only does the Quick Export not work, but when I go to do a regular export, the window opens up and the wait indicator spins forever.
Why am I paying this monthly fee, when such an important feature is not going to work properly? 

I am getting the exact same issue described here on my machine. Happens across multiple documents, not limited to one. I right click on an artboard and select 'Quick Export as PNG', nothing happens. Nothing freezes or slows down, just nothing happens. Other export methods work, but 'Quick Export as PNG' is invaluable for quickly saving out a single artboard as a PNG.

As with other users here, the only fix seem to be restarting Photoshop and trying again.

Same problem here which I right click on a layer/artboard and quick export as jpg. The export window sometimes doesn't open. Then I have to quit Photoshop to get it working again. Export As seems to hate PNGs too, it just hangs and hangs with no response. Using the legacy save for web scales png images down if they are too long. 😞

I've found keeping the explorer window that it opens open it can help.

Same problem here. Workaround for me is sometimes "Quick export as PNG"

I am having the same issue, Anyone point me in the direction of a resolution as i have got really used to using this feature
