P: Quick Export not working

Mine worked before the update that I did yesterday...

I have updated my PS to 2015.5 and the issue still remains, it's not fixed.

As a UX designer I have to work with multiple artboards (each with several layers) and produce different versions of my flats. So the quick export as PNG would be really useful (if it worked)...

I'm moving to Sketch with some projects just because I can't deal with the hassle of having my workflow completely cut by having to restart PS all the time.

I believe I have a workaround. In lieu of actually re-installing Photoshop (I don't have access to do it at my company), I can make it work by doing the following:

1. Turn the layer into a Smart Object
2. Double-click the Smart Object to open it in a new window
3. Now I can export it by going to File: Export -> Save for Web (Legacy)...
4. Afterwards, close the Smart Object, and undo it or rasterize it back into a regular pixel layer.

Quick export is flaky at best. I just used it seven times in a row, I added a new layer, changed some text and it stopped working. I was hoping this problem would have been solved by now as it's been months but it looks like it's still ongoing. C'mon guys, fix this already. We've got work to do.

I'm having the same problems described above with my PS CC 2015 on a MacBook Pro.

It happened to my as well, with a fresh install. So I reinstalled it, and it got solved. 2 months working so war.

I have the issue. Reinstalling is not gonna do anything, since this is a fresh install on a new machine bought today!
