P: Randomly needs to resave file and makes pixel pushing going to 10px

Kind of hard to describe but randomly when working in photoshop all of a sudden when Im using the arrow keys to move objects, it won't move by pixel anymore but jumps to moving like 10-20 pixels at a time and then I have to resave the file in order for it to work properly again. I'm using PS2018 on windows. So let's say I'm resizing an image and then I need to move it to the left. So I'll transform it, and then using the arrow keys I'll move it left a few pixels. All of a sudden though, maybe this is after a save, it will stop being able to move pixel by pixel and instead will force me to move by 10-20 pixels at a time. Something happens to photoshop where I have to resave the file again, and when I hit control + s it goes to the save as command, not the regular save. Hopefully this gives enough detail but this happens randomly so not sure how to track it down.

Sure Im using windows 10 latest version, mechanical keyboard like ducky one 2, steelseries rival 310 mouse. I'll usually have firefox or chrome running, maybe bridge, not a lot of stuff. This is why its hard to pin down because it happens randomly but has been happening more frequently on my computer at work. I'll be working on an image and then this will happen out of nowhere so I either have to resave the image with Save As or close everything out and restart photoshop. Maybe this conicides with creative cloud libraries because I think that might be an issue here. I get a lot of conflicted files with CC libraries and maybe its happening when I save them. I work with my boss on email designs so we have the creative cloud files folder we put all of the emails in. Very frequently when I save a design in there, the PSD becomes conflicted. Maybe this is happening with some type of error when the PSD gets conflicted when I save. I save a lot out of habit.

Howdy Alex,

Can you tell us more about your system setup?  Which version of Windows are you running?  What kind of keyboard/mouse are you using?  Are you using a tablet?  What other apps do you have running at the same time?

I haven't heard of this nor can I reproduce this, so I need more information.

Thanks,
David
