P: Select Color Range Crashes

Still have this issue in Photoshop v 22.2.1

Mac Big Sur

I have had 2 new versions since this was posted and I still have the problem! Windows 7, 64 bit, 16gig ram

Photoshop unexpectedly crashes when using Selection->ColorRange with following settings:

- Select: sampled colors

- Fuziness: 0

- Eyedropper type: add to sample.

The problem occurs when eyedropper is continuously (by pressing and holding the left mouse button) guided over the image.

After few seconds of such guidance the Photoshop application unexpectedly crashes.

This occurs not for all images.

I took pictures of our 90 employees, yeah i know, not as many as adobe or others, but all in front of a green screen for use with our website.

been a struggle for each one as it crashes 4 or 5 times before i can get it to work on one person, then it does it again.

Our QE folks are investigating. Thanks!
