P: Shortcut to open Last Filter with dialog box doesn't work

Since CTRL-F is now used to find something, the shortcut to apply the last filter is now CTRL-ALT-F. That means we no longer have a shortcut to open the last used filter dialog box so we can alter the settings. Why on god's green earth would Adobe change that? Do they really think we always apply the exact same settings every time we need to apply a filter? This was a shortcut I used dozens of times a day, and now I have to manually select the filter every damned time I need to apply it. Come on Adobe, this is just plain stupid.

That's weird because I just installed 2017 and my ctrl+f is still repeat last filter. I even tried resetting preferences thinking it was a glitch only it still repeating the last filter. Not complaining, just saying!

As noted, you can customize the keyboard shortcuts so that Last Used Filter uses Cmd + F by select Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts...

This change was made to make Cmd + F consistent with other applications that do search.

Y'all using photoshop cc 2017 could just go to Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts in photoshop and under Application Menus>Filter change Last Filter to Ctrl or Command + F to get Last Filter
as in previous photoshop versions.

Then Ctrl+Alt+ F and Command+Option+F will work again for repeat filter with dialog.

I am on a PC and the same filter is Ctrl+F. As far as I know there is no shortcut for the Searchbar on a Windows machine.

I agree with Chuck. The shortcut to the last filter dialogue was one I used during my sharpening process on nearly every image that I sharpen.

Up to now I have never required the search feature and I'm sure they could have found a better shortcut for 'Search'.

You must still be on v 2015-5. In 2017, at least on a PC, ctrl-f is the shortcut to the new search function dialog box.

Same here. I hate the new update. 2015.5 was so good you just knew they were going to mess something up.
