P: Sky Replacement tool Very Slow and unusable.

I am having real problems using the Sky Replacement tool.  I am using a Mac with the M1 processor.  The same problem is also happening on my Mac Book Pro with a similar spec.  I open the tool and you get the spinning wheel, trying to select different skies just freezes.  I have deleted all the photoshop permissions and made sure that the program has all the necessary disc permissions that I saw in a previous post.  Any ideas?

Woo Woo, Switching back to normal mode from Rosetta has cured the problem. I was running it in Rosetta mode to allow for Aurora HDR Plugin to show up in the menu.  Thanks for your help.

Here is a link to the file that I was having trouble with. It seems to be happening on all JPEG images, but RAW CR3 files seem to be ok.

The process sample indicates you're running Photoshop in Rosetta mode. Can you run Photoshop in Native mode? This document explains how to disable Rosetta: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861

I have done as requested and done the activity monitor.  See the attached. https://www.dropbox.com/s/isk510s99psgvws/Sample%20of%20Adobe%20Photoshop%202022.txt?dl=0

Seems to be working here for me.

Let me ask the Sky Replacement engineers what might help.

One other thing that might help us would be a process sample while the cursor is stuck spinning. Directions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/how-to-get-a-process-sample-or-spindump.html

There seems to be a temporary problem with dropbox.  I don't this my problem is specific to one JPEG as it does the same on different ones, but works OK on a RAW file?

So sorry, I pasted the wrong link.  Here was the image for the sky replacement.  I wanted a more dramatic sky in this.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/ku7ak3z2800d0vx/SM__7407-Edit%20copy.jpg?dl=0

Hmm. The image you provided has no sky in it. Were you trying to use this file as the sky? or were you trying to add a sky to this file?
