P: This Face Expression File is bad or corrupted

Which pdf editor are you using instead of Acrobat now? 

It was 4 years ago I had this issue. I can't beleive it is still occuring. I gave up updating Photoshop years ago as it became unusable. I've bought the Affinity suite of products now and will be scrapping my Adobe subscription next month. I get constant errors with Acrobat as well.

resetting does nothing to remove the error just ads to the annoyance

its really annoying doing this renaming bs every few days and loosing my settings

i dont remember any mention of a buggy product when i payed so as soon as the year is up i am cancelling my subscription

Adobe is making its best lately to make us quit photoshop

fix this [cursing removed] thing, we are paying here, all of us for you guys to fix stuff. Make stable versions than making this ridiculous AI new versions.

I just had this issue as well. Jane's answer just takes me back to this thread, not to an answer. I tried what everyone said - using .old - and that seems to have worked (so far). However, all of my recent files are gone. The recent files on the home screen now start 1 month ago. Am I right in assuming I can't get those back and I'll just have to remember what I've worked on in the last month? Does anyone know what causes this so I can prevent it from happening again?

Cada vez que inicio la app aparece el pop "Este archivo de expresión facial tiene errores o está dañado." 
He intentado de todo, desde código en el programa, desinstalar y volver a instalar Photoshop, pero después de un tiempo el programa vuelve a con el mismo problema. ¿Alguien sabe por qué pasa esto y cómo lo puedo solucionar?
