P: Transform/Resize is constrained by default - Want ability to go back to legacy behavior

Sorry. The improvements I mentioned in the official answer did not make it into the 20.0.2 update. I’m hoping they make it into the next update. I’ll update the thread when the change is available.

For the life of me I don’t understand why Adobe didn’t just keep the constrain tick box but make it on by default. It’s all so stupid.

The Free Transform is still constrained and there is no option in the bar to set it back to unconstrained.

I just updated to 20.0.2.  Many bugs squashed.  But...

-Option to use legacy transform behavior is still not provided. 

-The 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' button in the transform toolbar is still ineffectual. 

-The work around .txt file fix is still working. phew

-The Ctrl + Corner drag transform is fixed. yay

-Auto commit is improved by touching outside the doc area only.

I can live with this free transform.  But there is still another bug with layer thumbnails turning black.  So I will revert to CC2018.

Adobe, You have no problem increasing the subscription rate for CC, only to change a standard part of the workflow in Photoshop. And you call it a feature? I can still constrain in Illustrator and InDesign. What if a car maker charged a couple of thousand more for their auto and told you they had a new "feature" where if you turn the steering wheel left, the car turned right? Or more accurately, "we have a new feature, we switched the gas and brake pedals"

So what is happening with this ? ... what is it ... 3 months now and it is still annoying the utter s**t out of me. I use photoshop all day, everyday, for work plus 2 other businesses. This is the WORST change in the history of Adobe.
