P: Unable to access taskbar when using Photoshop 24.2.0 on Windows 11

Using Windows 11 version 22H2. Taskbar is set to autohide.
Have just updated Photoshop from v 24.1.1 to v 24.2.0 .
When using Photoshop, hovering the mouse at the bottom of the screen does not make the taskbar appear.

I have now rolled back to Photoshop v 24.1.1, and the taskbar now re-appears when I hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen.

@CShubert
Just updated Photoshop to v24.4.1 and I'm delighted to report that the taskbar now behaves perfectly and as intended.
Thanks for all your hard work and effort on our behalf.
Alan.

Grazie. Peccato che la versione 24.3 abbia anche altri bug. I, ad esempio, non riesco più ad utilizzare un azione. Mah!!

Hi all, wanted to let you know that there is a fix for this issue and it will be in the next update.

The Auto-hide taskbar is really unstable in Windows 11 - seems like the January or February update did something.  I have been reading forums on how to solve the hiding taskbar bug - it seems to stop on the Microsoft side when it stops hiding regardless of what is running.  The forums tell you to go into task manager, find Windows Explorer and restart it.  That fixes the problem until you restart the computer when you need to repeat it.  But even this trick doesn't fix the issue with Photoshop covering the taskbar in full screen.  Full disclosure - I installed the March update and it destroyed my operating system.  Prior to that, I had no issues with the task bar.  Now its a daily struggle.

Hey Corey - I had a windows system crash and corruption of the OS on March 24 after the March update from Wicrosoft.  We did a factory reset, updated windows, and then Adobe Tech Support loaded the newest version of Photoshop.  Prior to the crash there was no issue with the task bar. (Unfortunatly I don't remember what version of Photoshop I was running, but Adobe updates automatically.) Now, the task bar (set to auto hide) is inaccessible when Photoshop is set to full screen.  And as of March 31 its still hiding it.

Same issue for me on Win 11. Please fix it, it is beyond annoying now.

Also, I should mention that I have 24.3.1 running on a Windows 10 system as well (22H2) and the taskbar works just fine. It seems to be an issue with Windows 11 and PS.

I'm having the same issue. Every program on Windows (Win11 - 21H2)  works as expected when bringing up the taskbar, except Photoshop when maximized. It's not a Windows issue. I just upgraded to 24.3.0 hoping it would resolve this, but alas, I still cannot bring up the taskbar while in Photoshop. Not only is it annoying for productivity reasons, I missed a Slack notification due to this since my taskbar can't obtain focus while in PS.
