P: Weird lines remain after resizing, drawing and other things

Hi, for awhile now I've had a problem where any time I resize a layer, draw a shape or anything like that lines are left behind.

This just started happening one day I assume after some kind of update.

You can see what I mean by looking at the screenshot here:

If I zoom in or out those lines all disappear but that gets really annoying and if I'm resizing a bunch of layers things really start to get messy in my document.

How can I stop this from happening?

I'm on Windows 10 if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, I think I'm having the same problem, some lines appear in my images after opening them on photoshop, but this suggesion is not fixing at all my problem. Could it be that some setting have changed and I can't solve it as same as before?

Thank you, I attach a screenshot too.

@kavi1 if you get a chance, could you copy/paste the info from Photoshop > Help > System Info, and share? An up to date GPU should be able to handle this; Older GPUs with out of date drivers might choke in this way.

The first file I try to open with v23 looks like horizontal lines, like in the picture below:

This happens for all the file formats I've tried: png, jpg, tif.

I had no issue at all with the same files on v22.5.2. Below v22.5.2 opening the same image:

Anybody has any idea why this is happening ?
(v23.0, Win10, i7 5500U,16gb RAM.)

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
