Parts of the image disappear when zooming in (Mac Studio, Photoshop 2025 26.0)

Photoshop 26, Mac Studio M2 Ultra. When inserting an image on a blank canvas (1300px), already doring placing only a small part of the image is shown. Problem persists at all zoom levels. After placing the image, different blocks/parts of the image appear and disappear randomly. Problem disappears when disabling GPU compositing, but only if I place the image new. If I keep the image which has been placed WITH GPU compositing and turn GPU compositing off, still only articafts are visible.

Additionally, this problem never appeared in earlier versions for me.

It might be related to your GPU. Could you take a look at this post describing a similar issue? https://adobe.ly/40rcpTw.

 

Also, could you share your system info? You can find this by going to Help > System Info, copying the details into a text file, and attaching it here. This will help us look into the issue further.
