Pasting from Illustrator to Photoshop as 'Layers' crashes Photoshop since 2023

Since Photoshop version 25 until the newest v26, Photoshop freezes and crashes whenever I paste from Illustrator to Photoshop as "Layers". It works fine in version 24, so I use that for it when I need to.

It doesn't matter what kind of content I paste. It crashes with single text layers, shapes, images, and everything else.

I have a Windows 11 computer. Legion 5, 32GB RAM, Nvidia 3060 (6GB Vram). 

I thought Adobe would have fixed this ages ago. I was really hoping the new Photoshop 2025 (v26) would have fixed this, but no luck.

Disabling "Use Graphics Processor" in Performance Preferences did not work.

Any solutions?
