Photoshop 2024 + Beta 2025 freezing when saving edit

I have tried both Photoshop 2024 and Photoshop BETA 2025 and I'm unable to edit more than one photo before the app freezes. I can still do other edits but because it's not finished saving a previous edit I just create a cue and can't cancel saving the troublesome photo. I have to go into task manager, end the task for photoshop and then even have to restart my whole laptop before I can open photoshop again. It will then let me edit and save 1, maybe 2 photos, before it gets stuck again. I can see via creative cloud an update was recently installed so it seems to have happened since the latest update.
