I have Windows 11, computer i5-13600K + 32 GB RAM + RTX 2060 + Dell U2723QE monitor.

When working with the Plastic filter (Liquify) the brush slows down. The brush slows down and “twitches” both when moving the brush across the image (the area is marked with a red rectangle) and when zooming in/out on the brush.

When you move the brush over the settings panel (the area marked with a green rectangle), the brush moves at normal speed, smoothly and without “jerks”. If you select the Face, Hand, or Scale tool, the brush also moves normally across the entire workspace. If you select the adjustment tools, the brush “slows down”.

Adobe, when will you solve this problem?

I have reinstalled all drivers and tried several options.

The problem is most likely related to the use of the video card.
If you disable video card support, the brush in the Plastic filter starts working normally in all modes. But in this case a number of other problems and inconveniences appear when working with Photoshop. Among other things, the image appears “jerkily” and in parts in the Plastic filter, and the image “jerks” when zooming in.

The described solution for Mac owners did not help me personally. Moving the cursor to the top of the Photoshop screen and pressing the “shift+ctrl+x” shortcut keys did not work for me. The brush is still “twitching”.

The only thing that helped was changing the refresh rate in the NVIDIA control panel. This action did not solve the problem completely, but at least now you can work. I had the refresh rate set to 30Hz, I changed it to 60Hz (which is my maximum refresh rate). The monitor is a Dell U2723QE.

При работе с фильтром Пластика (Liquify) тормозит кисть. Кисть тормозит и "дергается" как при перемещении по изображению (область обозначена красным прямоугольником), так и при увеличении/уменьшеии кисти.

При перемещении кисти по панелям настроек (область обозначена зеленым прямоугольником), кисть движется с нормальной скоростью, плавно и без "рывков". Если выбрать инструмент "Лицо", "Рука" или "Масштаб", кисть также движется нормально по всему рабочему полю. При выборе корректирующих инструментов, кисть "тормозит".

Адобе, когда вы решите эту проблему?

Все драйвера переустанавливал и перепробовал несколько вариантов.

Проблема скорее всего связана с использованием видеокарты.

При отключении поддержки видеокарты, кисть в фильтре Пластика начинает работать нормально во всех режимах. Но в этом случае появляется ряд других проблем и неудобств при работе с Фотошоп. В том числе, в фильтре Пластика изображение появляется "рывками" и частями, при увеличении изображение "дергается".

Описанное решение для владельцев Mac мне лично не помогло. Перевод курсора вверх экрана Фотошоп и нажатие быстрых клавиш "shift+ctrl+x" у меня не сработало. Кисть по факту "тормозит".

Единственное что помогло, это изменение частоты обновления экрана в панели управления NVIDIA. Это действие не решило проблему полностью, но хотя бы теперь можно работать. У меня была установлена частота 30Гц, изменил частоту на 60Гц (у меня это максимальная частота). Монитор Dell U2723QE.

ich hatte das Problem am Anfang auch. Mittlerweile klappt das Verflüssigen einwandfrei, so dass ich das Tool nutzen kann. 

Ich habe einen Mac I9 aus 2020, alle System-Updates und Updates von Adobe. Ich nutze dabei Adobe PS Beta.

I have the same problem on the Mac that I shoot to at a client's studio. I depend on Liquify to finish the job and I have the same problem, so I have to bring files home and deliver the next day. Major problem. I am going to have to transport my own Mac to the studio until this is fixed.

Still a problem. I work with three different macs. One with the M1 chip and two with Intel. It happens on all of them, but it's worst on the ones with the Intel chips.

Wow, this has been an issue for a while. I wonder if it is with the M chip machines. Mine's a Mac Studio M1 Max 32gb, Sonoma 14.4.1. It is SO ANNOYING. I thought it might have been my Wacom tablet but it doesn't matter what I do. Hoping for a solution.

A work around that I've been using is command+shift+x to open liquify. Mine works fine that way but jumps everywhere when I choose liquify from the drop down.
