Just downloaded Photoshop 2024 today. When entering the Liquify filter, the mouse moves on its own, jumping all over the place. This makes the Liquify filter unusable. Anyone else seeing this?

yes, it worked only temporarily for me.  when i turn off GPU, the forward warp tool works.  but then you have to turn it back on to use the face tools.  this is ridiculous!!!!

Going to PS settings / Performance / Advanced Settings and un-ckecking GPU compositing didn't work for me. After restarting PS the cursor still behaves as if it is drunk.

This was so frustrating but I think I've got it fixed!  Go to settings - performance - advanced settings and uncheck GPU compositing.  Restart PS.  Fixed it on my end!

Same problem.  Brand new iMac with M3 chip.  Latest PS and the liquify tool is totally unusable.  The took moves on its on and flies all over the screen.  Adobe - why is there no fix to this?!!!!

@mrphototx

Thank you for your answer.

I've tested your possible fix, but nothing changed. The cursor react very slowly and jumped a few seconds later if i moved my mouse.

POSSIBLE FIX: I tried all of the suggestions in this thread, but the problem still continued. However, in settings --> Enhanced Controls, I turned off "Show Touch Bar Property Adjustments".  Now, when I go into Liquidfy, my cursor may quickly bounce back and forth for a split second, but then it works just fine.  It doesn't matter which tool I use, size of brush, or if I am zoomed way in or out of the image. Before I turned this off, my cursor would move and the only way I could stop it was to hit the space bar. Give it a shot... maybe it will work for you too.

SIDENOTE: I spent 3 days talking with Adobe about this to 12 different techs, ALL of them said there were NO OTHER REPORTS of this issue... that it must be my iMac causing the problem. One tech said that my 72GB of RAM was not enough. LOL. Yeah, right.  Funny how I didn't have any problems until 2024 was installed.

This is seems to have basically solved the problem form, although it still jumps around from time to time. Lots less annoying though!
