Photoshop 27.11 - Adjustment Layer is resetting it's values


I’m seeing a repeatable bug with Photoshop Adjustment Layers:  If I have a setup using multiple Channel Mixer Layers (one of which is mono conversion). At some point during the project, returning to the mono conversion Layer after changing another & it’s adjustment values have been reset back to default. The document preview looks like it’s previous values are still being applied

Note sure if this is solely specific to Channel Mixer & the monochrome option, I haven’t noticed similar behaviour with other adjustments.

    Thanks for reporting this. I understand how concerning it can be when adjustment values appear to reset, especially when the image itself still looks correct.

    We’re aware of a related issue where Channel Mixer and other adjustment panels don’t retain the previously selected channel when switching between layers. However, I’d like to confirm whether you’re experiencing that same behavior or something different.

    Could you please check two things?

    1. When you return to the Channel Mixer adjustment layer, does selecting the Monochrome option again restore your previous values, or are they actually reset to their defaults?

    2. If you save, close, and reopen the PSD, do the original adjustment values return?

    This will help us determine whether your report matches the existing issue or needs a separate investigation.

    1. When you return to the Channel Mixer adjustment layer, does selecting the Monochrome option again restore your previous values, or are they actually reset to their defaults?

      > Monochrome is still selected, but all values read at 0%

       

    2. If you save, close, and reopen the PSD, do the original adjustment values return?

      > No

      > Saving the preset adjustment to the Adjustment Panel > Presets also stores them as o%

      >That’s been an issue for years, and as such has now become expected behaviour
