    Crashing is nearly always GPU-related.

As @nik.m suggests, resetting preferences is the first step in any troubleshooting. Preferences contain a lot more than your own user settings, it’s the full application configuration, including hidden and system-dependent parameters. Corrupt preferences usually look like application bugs.

Then update/reinstall the GPU driver. Make sure to load the Studio driver, not the Game Ready driver.

Also, please post the full Help > System Info from Photoshop. This will show any system configuration problems, like e.g. dual graphics, which is a known potential problem.

Hi, we're sorry for the Photoshop crash. Would you mind sharing the exact version of Photoshop you're using, along with your computer's operating system?

Please try removing Photoshop completely using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, then reinstalling it to see if that makes a difference. You can check out the steps to use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool here: https://adobe.ly/4yAJY2Y

Also, try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4yHMy7p

Please back up your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/4yO7slq

Let us know how it goes!

    Thanks,
    Nikunj
