Photoshop font variants not working

Hi there,

 

I just downloaded Photoshop 2024 (Version 25.3.1) and I'm trying to set my font as Montserrat Extra Bold but only some letters are changing - the others remain as Montserrat Thin. Couple of quick notes:

  • I'm not having this issue with any other fonts
  • I downloaded the font from Google Fonts
  • I'm not having this issue on Premiere Pro

 

Any ideas on what I should do or if this is just a bug?

      Hi, This issue with the use of variable fonts has been reported and will be fixed in the next release of Photoshop desktop. In the meantime, please use the static versions (i.e., non-variable-font) of the font.
