Hi @richard_1475, Thanks for reaching out to the Photoshop Community Forums! Let's identify and resolve the issue of Photoshop failing to open. Please follow these steps:

    1. Repair Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraries:

      • Close all applications.

      • Go to the Control Panel.

      • Navigate to "Programs and Features."

      • Locate all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable entries.

      • Right-click each entry and select "Repair."

    2. Check for Windows Updates:

      • Open Settings (Windows + I).

      • Go to "Update & Security."

      • Click on "Check for updates" and install any available updates.

    3. Use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to reinstall: https://adobe.ly/4j8cghf

    4. Temporarily Disable Antivirus Software: Disable any antivirus or security software temporarily during installation and launch to ensure they are not interfering with the application.

If none of these steps work, can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce it? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here. Thanks! ^CH
