Photoshop won't load any RAW files

Hi friends, does anyone have the problem with the latest version of Photoshop that when importing a RAW file, whether CR" or DNG, an error appears saying that there was a problem with the program? This does not happen with normal photos, only with RAW files. I installed a previous version, 25.1, and it works correctly.

Hopefully at some point someone in support will see this and fix the problem.

Don't change anything based on my completely unsubstantiated theory! I have no idea if it's correct, just the best I can come up with.

Yes, it's the ACR plugin, whether used as a raw processor or as a filter in Photoshop. But the problem is apparently in Photoshop since it so conspicuosly started with 25.11.

If that is exactly the error, the strange thing is that it only appears when you try to do something with raw camera, apparently the problem comes from that plugin. According to what you say, it should be solved by changing Windows to English? I don't think it's that simple hahaha, I'll try it.

Is this what you're seeing?

I'm getting that when Photoshop has been running for a while. Relaunching PS clears it, then it comes back after a while.

It started with version 25.11. Previous versions from 25.9 and back never show this.

I've been watching this for a while, there's been other reports, and what I think I'm noticing is that this only happens to people outside of the English language zone. So maybe it's somehow triggered by a language/region conflict between PS/OS/keyboard.

That's a far-fetched theory, I know - but every single time I've seen a problem or bug in Photoshop, I have tracked it down to language as the most likely conflict. That always seems to be at the bottom of it. English/UK/US users never seem to get these problems.

And now someone will blow that theory up in a second 😉

Hello, the RAW file is on my PC, I can do it by the import option or simply drop the file into the program, in any case the result is the same, apparently it is when loading the RAW CAMERA plugin because I try to open the preferences of that plugin and it gives me the same error and I put a JPG photo and when I go to Filter->raw camera it gives me the same error, so I think that would be the problem and I don't know how to solve it.

Are you opening from Bridge or from a folder? Are you using File > Open in Photoshop or trying to access Camera RAW through Bridge? Please describe the process step by step.

I do not have any issues opening CR and DNG files via Bridge or using File > Open in Photoshop. I am running version 26.0.0 of Photoshop and Camera Raw 17.0.0.2043.
