Nicolas

Do you have install Windows 10 on your old SSD as an update from Windows 7 etc., or was it a complete reinstallation?

When installing an update, parts of the old version (like libraries and so on) sometimes remain, which can be responsible for the program still working. When you do a complete new installation, these are then missing and problems can arise.

Photoshop CS2 is a 14 years old and it isn't compatible with new versions of operating systems. It is possible that there are compatibility issues.

Which version of Windows do you use?

What you can try is to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:

Try to create a file namend PSUserConfig.txt in

"C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings"

and include the following lines:

# Use WinTab

UseSystemStylus 0
