PS 2025 Neural filters creating unexpected results

Hi All-

I teach a PS class at an art school. We have students attending in person and via zoom from various places in the US. Last week PS 2025 Neural Filters were creating odd results: hair thickness, smile, and various other face oriented filters were resulting in odd mask like replacements of the face and odd clown like replacements of hair.  
Has this happened to anyone else?
