PS 27.11 Closes When Saving Documents

The dialog box does not appear when the pulldown menu is used to select ‘save’ or ‘save as’. Using the keyboard shortcut gives the same results on a new document to be saved but an existing document is saved and the program does not close. I tried several fixes proposed by various sources but the result is the same. Everything works as it supposed to when I reverted back to version 27.10. I’m using Windows 11 version 25H2

    Hi ​@bobd26357185, Welcome to the Photoshop Community forum! To better help you with this issue, we would like a few more details. Can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce it? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here.

    In the meantime, I would recommend trying these basic troubleshooting steps:

    1. Clear your cache: You can clear your internal Photoshop cache quickly by going to Edit > Purge > All while the application is open

    2. Reset System Preferences:  try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences: https://adobe.ly/3VAnpxv 

    3. Use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to reinstall:  https://adobe.ly/4e1ZNYX

    It seems to be working correctly now after resetting preferences. Thanks for the help.
