Recent files not showing up on Photoshop startup screen

I used to have all my recent files show up on the startup screen for Photoshop. Now it only has 3 that were from over a year ago. I am using Photoshop 25.9.1. It has been doing this through several updates however. I have not done anything that I know of to account for this issue. Any thoughts on how to get the recent files to show up?
