Remove tool causes PS 27.6 to stop and close down

Opening a JPG-file in PS 27.6. Then try to apply the remove tool. Immediately receive an error (with the request to send a report). Done so. Re-installed PS but no cure. Thanks for solving the issue.

    Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or by putting it in a text file and sharing a link to the file. 

    Meanwhile, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4uwiZ7e
