Selecting the remove tool causes PS to crash. Using latest version PS. Windows 10. Driver for Nvidia GPU up to date. Few days ago it was working fine. Nothing new has been done to computer.

Thanks for your help

Maybe it's because the Nvidia driver was released in the latest version a few days ago, and the corresponding release of Photoshop hasn't been released yet...

Try changing the mode of the Remove tool to "Auto (May use Generative AI)" or "Generative AI off." If that's the source of the problem, one of these should be okay.

If that doesn't go anywhere, I would verify that there is no pending update for Windows, then restart the computer. If the problem persists, reset Photoshop preferences by holding down Ctrl, Alt, and Shift while Photoshop is starting. Answer "Yes" at the prompt.

If you're sure nothing new was done to the computer, but the problem still persists, follow these steps to ensure nothing weird has happened to the key system files.
