Right-clicking in File / Open dialog freezes Photoshop

This has persisted through the last few updates. I just got the latest and tried again and the app still freezes.

Select File / Open to open a file.

In the Open dialog window, right-click. (Right-clicking should bring up a pop-up menu to sort files, create a new folder, etc.)
Photoshop hangs. I have to close the app via Task Manager.

I should mention that this only happens in Photoshop. Premiere, Animate, etc. all work as expected.

Thanks. I found the folder and deleted it. Fired up PS. File / Open. Right-click in the OPEN dialog.

It still hangs. 😞 I have to go to Task Manager to kill Photoshop.

@Mark Clarkson type %appdata% in the file explorer address bar and hit return on the keyboard, this will bring you to the appdata/roaming folder

I'll give that a try if I can find the folder. Following the instructions in the above link is impossible, as it tells me to go to a folder that I don't actually have on my PC.

Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

@Mark Clarkson not seeing the issue on my system with Photoshop version 25.11 on Windows 10 and Windows 11, right-clicking in the open dialog works fine for me, have tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset
