Save as jpeg saving as png in actions

So, here you go again, Adobe made it happen. Another HUUUUUUUGE Bug for an incredibly expensive software and I am wasting my time with it

 

I have an action where it CLEARLY states it should save as jpeg but keep saving as png. I tried with save as copy, save for web, export and everything!!!!!

 

Not long, and I'll definetely switch to affinity + davinci. It's been a long time coming

As this is a bug report, please supply the appropriate information in order for this to be tested.

 

Version and build of Photoshop.

 

Version and build of your Mac operating system.

 

Chipset: Intel, M1 etc.

 

Screenshot of the action with the offending save step options clearly visible. Can you also post a screenshot of the saved file/s and how they indicate that they are PNG and not JPEG.

 

Any other relevant info such as if you are using the action stand-alone or via the Batch command.

 

Adobe staff may require sample action or output files or a dump of your system info.
