Select and Mask workspace hangs forever

Good day!

I started Select and Mask workspace, clicked on a area with Quick Select tool and Photoshop hangs. Now about one hour have been passed. When I close it (pressing on X button) - no result. How to close it to restart? Is it normal that Select and Mask takes so much time? I have ROG PC with 32 Gb memory and NVIDIA 4080 GPU
