Selecting Items (SHIFT+Click)

Hello,

When the user selects multiple items with SHIFT+Click, shouldn't the drag with mouse be disabled, so that the user doesn't mistakenly also move some of the items slightly off? Of course, when selecting only one item without SHIFT, the drag with mouse is always active.

Yes, simply selecting the layers and then using the arrow keys will solve your issue. Glad I can help.

Thanks for reply. Some mouses can move slightly around unintentionally when clicking to select items. I suppose it would be too complicated to require releasing the SHIFT first, to enable dragging the selected items together with mouse? As suggested, maybe select the layers instead and use the arrows, for precise positioning.

No, when you press shift click, you can shift click multiple items on the canvas to select or you could also shift click the layers to select items. But being able to drag them is the entire point I can shift quick and select numerous images and or layers and then move them or transform them scale them, etc. at the same time if you're worried about moving them, you can shift click the layers and then use your keyboard arrows to move the itemsone picks at a time or press shift and click the arrows to move them about 12 pixels at a time you can even press shift and hold down the arrows at the same time to slide them across the screen. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Mark
