Stylus Brush tool using Erser

Whenever i use my mouse on photoshop, it draws as a normal proper sized brush tool. But when i use my stylus to draw, it immediately erases. even though i have pressed on the brush tool button and the brush tool button is highlighted, it erases. 

please help!
