THE DIGITS IN THE TEXT SETTINGS DO NOT CHANGE ACCORDING TO WHAT I ENTER

I have had a problem with this for some time. Previously, it used to work normally - now I am unable to enter the correct value I want to have set in the options, e.g. line spacing. Actually, it's mainly in this. I can change other options using the numeric keypad - but not this one.

 

After entering any number, Photoshop 2018 (because that's the version I'm using) enters numbers from outer space such as: 6.16, 151.78. 432.42, 5421.23 

 

I don't know how to deal with this.

this value, after typing anything or moving the mouse in any direction, changes to numbers that do not correspond to what is expected

 

 

and eventually a message pops up that the value is too large - in this case, I typed "55" on the keyboard and it came out 8932.58

@Matthew Dudda not sure exactly what you mean, can you post a screenshot of the Photoshop interface with all the pertinent panels opened, also Photoshop 2018 is long out of support
