Unable to read full size images of DNG converted images with the new v26

Since downloading the new v26 of Photoshop I am unable to now open up the DNG image from RAW.

On trying to open the image for editing the error comes up as "unable to read the full size image" "there was an error parsing the file". This does not happen with the images in RAW before converting to DNG but I need to look over the images to decide what to keep. Is there a simple solution I am missing here?

I am running Windows 10.

All sorted thanks. I deleted the original Adobe DNG converter, shut down and re-booted my computer then downloaded the latest DNG converter, Camera RAW v17.0. Tried a couple of download images from the camera card, then a couple of DNG converted tests, opening up in Photoshop v26 and appears to be all now working ok. Not really sure what was going wrong?

What happens if you open one of the nefs in Camera Raw and convert it to DNG from within Camera Raw?

Do you get the same error when trying open that converted DNG back into Photoshop/Camera Raw?

Somehow I'm getting the impression that you're using some other software for culling? And the files coming from that other software are the ones you can't open?

Hi Jeff,

My cameras are both Nikon D850 and Nikon Z7.

Softwear that converted was Adobe DNG Converter 14.0.

What camera are the converted DNGs from?

What software are you using to convert the camera raw files to DNGs?
