When I select tool via key command, it changes to a different tool. Not all the time but often. Click "z", zoom icon highlighted for a split second. Then the Move tool is highlighted instead. Same with the eyedropper and brush tools.

Sorry this is poorly written, it wouldn’t allow me to post over 250 characters. In other words, using key commands to change tools in Photoshop often does not work and the program will revert to a different tool. I can see the selection of the desired tool appear for a split second in the tool bar and then it reverts and stays on a different tool. I think clicking the tool with the cursor will work but for speed I prefer to use key commands. This really disrupts the flow of work. It’s not all the time but probably happens once a day, when working full time. It’s been happening for a long time too.
