Version Photoshop 27.10

macOS Tahoe - Mac Silicon

Recorded actions and batch play commands for UXP are failing to add a reveal all (white) mask after creating a group layer.

An error box displays “Make is not currently available”

This only appears to failing on Mac Silicon, I have not been able to reproduce it on Windows or Mac Intel.

    Is this when running the action using File>Automate>Batch or are using a custom panel to initiate the action?

     

    So far, here on a 2022 M1 Mac Studio running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 and Photoshop 2026 (ps ver 27.10) i’m not able to replicate the error with your action or any of my actions.

     

    If this is just on one Apple Silicon machine then perhaps the Photoshop preferences need to be reset:

    Also check that Full Disk Access is granted to Photoshop in Apple>System Settings>Privacy & Security>Full Disk Access
