Why does my Fuji Raw ( x-t30) file look like a "painting" (When viewed at 400%)?

Please adobe, fix this for fuji users ... I only work with Fuji XF and Fuji GF medium format.
I will otherwise have to leave this plan if this doesn't get fixed soon because I cannot use LRc.
Any tips please share ... (please not more of the "enchace details" thing ..what a waste of time and disck space.

Have you experimented with Iridient Digital X-Transformer, a RAF to DNG converter, that many Fuji X owners use (as they detest ADOBE RAF conversion)? Not sure about the GF. A Demo is available to test

https://www.iridient.com/products/xtransformer.html

As for the sample image, sure does look like the worms. But I assume you did not let LrC sharpen?

Perhaps a actual RAF file to share with members to test could help. Could you post one on the Cloud? Mind you I do not have Capture One, to compare, perhaps another member does?? To include LrC edits in that example, include a xmp file .

@GoldingD

I have heard about the xtransformer software before and it seems similar to "Enchance Details" already in LRc. But thank you for the tip. I have tried the "Enchance Details", and I saw no difference at all (except an extra large DNG file 🙂
I went digging more info on this and it seems that I'm not alone after all ... there're many people complaining about the same issue for years on blogs and youtube since x-trans 1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that Adobe didn't care much about Fuji Raw users. Or it's a question of licensing the algorithm from Fuji.?!
My other Fuji GF files (not x-trans) and Nikon NEF etc. seem to be OK(ish) in LRc.

I do prefer LRc workflow to C1, I find it more intuitive but I can not send a file like this to a client to print (very large prints).

I'll have to stick with C1 for now 😕😕

I will try to share the RAF on the cloud asap

Just send it to yourself with wetransfer and post the link here. The link will only be open for a few days.

Thanks Bob. This is about LRc rendering RAF files incorrrectly from my perspective.

Hi,
Apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum.

Please allow me to clarify the issue:
Looking at the printscreen one can clearly see the difference in rendering the RAF RAW when opened and viewed at 400% (I'm using a 5K display) between LRc and Capture One.
I wonder why the same raw with basic editing looks like a smudged painting in LRc? Then there is the well known issue with the "Fuji worms" when sharpening in LRc but this is different.
On my previous printscreen I export a TIFF 16bit from LRc into PS to see if the painting effect had gone in a pixel editor ... but no, it didn't!
Please view attach to see what I mean.
Thank you all

Are you asking about Photoshop or LRC?

@GoldingD

You may be right. I may have misinterpreted the post.

Maybe the OP will clear this up.

I suspect this posting was moved to the wrong community.

In your screenshot, clearly Photoshop is on the left, but what is on the right (something about RAWEditMaster???)

/followup/ Author has reposted screenshots, that now make sense.
