25.6, 25.5, 25.4, 25.3, 25.2 GPU Render Error -1609629695. Lumetri Panel FIX - CREATIVE TAB
Hello Community!
After 5 months of fighting with Premiere Pro I finally discovered what caused error code -1609629695. I believe that many people have been affected with it. I have a lot of people texting me about this problem cause I have made 3 posts about it in the past.
SIMPLE ANSWER - DISABLE CREATIVE TAB INSIDE LUMETRI COLOR
I finally found the root of the problem and what is causing it. It's the CREATIVE pannel in Lumetri Color. Disabling it makes the error go away.
- Issue – While exporting a video on versions 25.2, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5, 25.6 in random timestamps we get a GPU error code -1609629695
- Steps to reproduce:
1. Add any .look file to the lumetri color CREATIVE pannel (I tried both - avaiable with premiere pro and made by myself/downloaded)
2. Export a video - Expected result – Video exported without any problems and bugs
- Actual result – Error code selector 9, error code: -1609629695
- Adobe Premiere Pro version – 25.2, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5, 25.6 and all their fixes
- Operating system – Widnows 11
- GPU driver version (Windows only) – Tried every avaiable studio driver from Nvidia support site - all of them have this problem.
- Video format – Tried h264, H265, prores
Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs: - Does it affect all projects or only some projects? every project - something is wrong with the Lumetri panel from version 25.2 and above
- Does it affect new projects? Yes, even projects that have been made in previous versions (25.0, 25.1 etc)
- When did the problem begin? WIth the version 25.2
- Tried:
-clearing cache
-reseting preferances
-restarting PC
-reinstalling Adobe Creative Cloud with Adobe Apps
-new GPU drivers (reinstall)
-clean windows install
nothing worked
The only thing that works is disabling CREATIVE pannel from Lumetri Color.
Every other pannel inside Lumetri works great. But creative doesn't
Problem is - .look files are very helpful and speed up our work. It's absolutely necessary (because you can't apply .look files into BASIC CORRECTION tab). I have done everything I could to solve this issue. Now it's in the hands of Adobe.
