Hi everyone, I’m learning UX design and ways to improve website user experience. Any blogs, guides or resources you recommend for learning UX effectively? 

I updated a project to 2026, but every single edit operation results in a five second beachball - insert edit, overwrite edit, ripple delete, Track select forward & drag, etc.    All these operations beachball and no input works, then eventually the operation happens.   None of this happens when I open the original project in 2025. I’ve reset cache, updated Blackmagic RAW plugin, restarted computer and app, to no avail. Mac Studio M1, macOS 15.7.2, Premiere 2026.0.1

Why does part of the audio track in a squence lose it’s quality within a sequence after I open it again in Adobe Premiere Pro? How do I resolve this issue? 

Hello Adobe Community,I'm experiencing an issue with hardware-accelerated decoding in Adobe Premiere Pro on my NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Specifically, HEVC (H.265) videos in 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, 10-bit depth work perfectly with hardware decoding at 4K resolution, but the same format at 6.2K (5240x2700) falls back to software decoding (CPU). This leads to poor performance during playback and editing.System Specs:GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti (latest Studio Driver installed, 581.57)CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900XRAM: 64GB DDR5OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)Premiere Pro Version: 25.5Preferences > Media: Hardware-accelerated decoding enabled, set to NVIDIA. Issue Description:For 4K videos (4096x2160 or 3840x2160), hardware decoding works as expected. In the Debug Monitor (Alt+Ctrl+F12 > Importer.MPEG), the "Hardware Decompressed" counter increases while playing, and "SW Frames Decompressed" stays at 0. GPU usage is visible in Task Manager/GPU-Z.For 6.2K videos (5240x2700 from Fujifilm X-S20

The original drive was named LaCie, as was the replacement drive (the system now sees the new drive as LaCIe 1). The new drive is APFS-formatted with a GUID Partition Map. It seems that I can save to a different folder, but I have no option for scratch disks other than the system drive, on which I’m storage space-challenged. Is there a way for me to update the existing app installations for permissions to reference the new drive?

I'm using the automatic transcription tool available in Premiere Pro to edit my videos, but I've noticed that when I right-click on a filler in the transcript and select the "ignore this filler" option, the rest of the sentence in that transcribed block disappears – causing the rest of the transcript to be out of sync.Transcriptions are in Portuguese (BR), I´m using Premiere Pro 26.0.0 (Build 72)As an example, you have a quick screen recording I’ve done of the issue. As you can see, the whole sentence present on the 10:27:11 - 10:46:56 mark disappears after ignoring the filler. Closing the project and reopening it doesn’t fix it, nor does changing my workspace. I’m happy to provide any additional info if needed Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm considering buying a MacBook Pro M4 Pro 14" (12-core CPU / 20-core GPU / 24GB) for video editing and I've been reading reports from early 2025 about Premiere Pro not fully utilizing Apple Silicon on M4 — low GPU usage (30-40%), stuttered playback with Lumetri + effects, and long export times compared to DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.My typical workflow:H.264 / HEVC footage (standard camera, no RAW) 4K timelines, occasional multicam Effects: Lumetri Color, Noise reduction, transitions No mixed frame ratesHas this been addressed in recent Premiere updates (25.3+)? Is real-time playback with color grading and effects working properly now on M4 Pro?Any firsthand experience from M4 Pro users running Premiere in early 2026 would be really appreciated.Thanks

Hola, Al Sincronizar dos videos mediante el audio se tarda demasiado, incluso dos clips de 10 seg se tarda 5 minutos en sicronizarse, antes no me ocurria esto, estoy desesperado porque no encuentro ninguna info al respecto, ya intente actualizar el driver de mi tarjeta de video (radeon 7700xt) ya vacie el cache del programa y no se que mas intentar 

IssueOpacity mask tools (pen, rectangle, ellipse) do not appear in Effect Controls for certain MP4 files in Premiere Pro 2026, even though the files are standard H.264 video clips and effects apply normally. This makes it impossible to mask Gaussian Blur or any other effect via Opacity, with no warning or explanation in the UI.Steps to reproduceIn Premiere Pro 2025 or earlier, export a sequence as an MP4 (H.264). Open Premiere Pro 2026. Import the exported MP4 file into a project. Place the clip in a sequence timeline. Select the clip in the timeline. Open Effect Controls and expand Opacity.Expected resultThe Opacity section should display mask tools (pen, rectangle, ellipse), allowing the user to draw and animate an opacity mask, consistent with other MP4 source footage.Actual resultThe Opacity mask tools do not appear at all. Hi everyone,I’ve been getting into much larger projects than I’m used to and I’m hoping to get some workflow advice from people who have more experience with post-production pipelines than I do. Sorry this is kinda long, I just have a lot of specifics that complicates things for me.Here’s my situation.My camera records .MOV files using H.264. Because my editing style involves a lot of animation, color work, and round-tripping between Premiere Pro and After Effects, I’ve been transcoding all my footage in Mezzanine files before editing.Right now my workflow looks like this:Record footage on camera (H.264 .MOV). Before importing into Premiere, I transcode everything in Adobe Media Encoder into mezzanine ProRes 422 files. >Important: I edit using those ProRes files and export clips to After Effects when needed and then back into premier as linked AE files. I have two cases:either the sound is not imported AT ALL...( the video does contains the sound), like NO sound track… either the audio and video are not synchronized…I do NOTHING else that importing a video…My project was build up from the previous version of premier, I dupliacted it, removed the video and imported the news ones that I need…I am stuck with this issue since 2 weeks now...corresponding to the exact moment I installed the V.20.5.2my laptop is on windows 11 pro, V25H2processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) ultra5 135Utype of video : MP4 Video File, recorded with the tool “camera” of the computerI didn’t try in another project… it really happened strating from the conversion from my previous project to the new version of adobe (cf screenshot) (but again, I removed all the previous rushes and imported the new ones...) 

When using the Transform effect in Premiere Pro 26.0, adjusting the scale or position values causes the keyframe graph to reset to the default interpolation. Previously customized easing curves are lost, and I must manually recreate the graph each time.Issue:Transform effect keyframe interpolation resets when adjusting keyframe values.(IT HAPPENS TO EVERY SINGLE PROJECT IN THE NEW 26 VERSION, BOTH ON MY WINDOWS 11 AND ALSO ON MY MACBOOK M4)Steps to Reproduce:1. Apply the Transform effect to a clip2. Add two scale keyframes3. Adjust the interpolation graph (ease in/out)4. Good afternoon,I have an .srt file (language not supported by Adobe's transcribe service) with roughly 10 sec time stamps.Some of them create 3-4 lines of text. I've limited the display to two lines with Essential Graphics settings, but some content is not shown.I've tried splitting them in the captions window, but the tile doubles.Based on other discussions, there is an issue with caption splitting. So, is it possible to limit character length on .SRT, like it is possible when creating a caption from an Adobe-generated transcript?So I can display all content, but in up to two lines.Thank you,Version 23.5.0 (build S6)

Bug Report: Missing Mask Tools (iOS) Problem: The Masking tools (Ellipse, Rectangle, Pen) have completely disappeared in Premiere Pro 2026 on iOS. Location: Missing in both Opacity and Crop effects, across all tabs (Source and Clip settings). Comparison: In the 2025 version, these tools worked perfectly. In the current 2026 version, the icons are gone. Customer Feedback: I am a paid subscriber, and encountering such a major flaw in a paid product is a huge disappointment. I feel misled by this update. Expectation: Restore the Mask selection (Pen/Shapes) icons in the Effect Controls immediately.  

Hi all, I am experiencing a glitch with Premiere Pro where any form of dragging does not work. For example, dragging any ‘effect control’ value will treat it as a click and opens the text box, dragging to extend a clip or move a layer simply won’t work, and even dragging to scrub the playhead does not work. It’s a super frustrating glitch that I first noticed in January, but today it’s playing up more-so than usual. This is an intermittent glitch; dragging does & can work, but only half of the time.This issue occurs when using either the trackpad or external mouse, so it can’t be a hardware issue.I have reinstalled Premiere Pro numerous times in an attempt to fix the issue, but the glitch still continues. I’ve attached a screen recording to show exactly what I’m experiencing.I am running Premiere Pro Version 26.0.1 (Build 3) on a MacBook Pro (Nov 2024), 48GB memory, running Tahoe 26.3.I’d appreciate any help and support on this!

We are aware that customers who saved projects in Premiere v25.6.0 may find that those files now open only in v26 (beta) and cannot be opened in v25 versions. We know this is disruptive, and we’re working on a fix.    What you need to know:  Projects saved in v25.6.0 save in the v26 version format.  Because of this, they can’t be opened in earlier versions, including v25.6.1 (even though it is the current generally available release)  We’re developing a tool that will let you convert affected projects back to a v25-compatible file.     Our Solution  We’re building a small app that will convert a v25.6.0-saved project back to the v25 format. We’ll share more information, including availability and instructions, as soon as the tool is ready in the coming days.     We know that there is nothing more important than the reliability of a project file, so we’re working with urgency to get this downgrade tool in your hands

Essential Graphics Properties Panel Empty/Missing (all Templates with Audio)I am experiencing a critical issue with Essential Graphics templates created in After Effects and used in Premiere Pro. The templates work correctly for a short period, but after making initial adjustments, the Properties Panel (For Essential Graphics) goes blank with only the standard settings (crop,audio,transform) that are available for every clip, regardless of the type of clip.Expected behaviorunExpected behaviorIn the example, I show that even if you use the button in a different place in the interface, the window does not update its content.to this ----When I drag a fresh instance of the Essential Graphics template into the project, the settings appear correctly, but only for that specific clip. When I hit Shift+2 more than once in a row, Premiere starts flicking through previous clips in the Source Monitor. I want to disable this, and I’ve successfully done so in the past. Now, I can’t work out how to.Gemini tells me the function I need to disable is “Open Clips in Separate Tabs” but it’s consistently telling me the wrong places to find it. Does anybody know which I can find this option? (although knowing Gemini, it might be making the whole name up too) (for what it’s worth, I’ve double checked, and Source Monitor is definitely the only command mapped to Shift+2)
