Premiere Pro’s timeline can get very crowded very quickly, especially on complex edits.I’d love to see a Track Groups system that lets us:Group audio tracks together, such as Dialogue, SFX, Music, etc. Collapse groups to reclaim valuable vertical space in the timeline. Apply effects to an entire group, rather than having to apply them clip-by-clip. Extend the same grouping functionality to video tracks for graphics, adjustment layers, B-roll, etc.The key point is that grouping would be organisational, not a change to the underlying audio/video routing. It would simply give editors a cleaner way to manage complex timelines without changing how the timeline actually works.Ableton Live and Final Cut Pro already demonstrate how useful track grouping can be. Bringing a similar workflow to Premiere Pro would be a huge quality-of-life improvement for editors working on complex timelines.Adobe, please give us Track Groups. 🙏P.S. Apologies for the AI-generated mockup! It was simply the quickes

Timeline Track Header Labels is AWESME. thank you for this.. I have some ideas.allow the user to select All Video or All audio or ALL tracks to assign a single label color. also maybe a brightness adjustment somewhere to make the colors brighter on a darker GUI big one here - enable Timeline Track Header Labels in sequence presets - so that a user can create a sequence preset tem|late with color coded tracks prior to editing l

We work with a lot of audio stems and it would be amazing if there was a way in Premiere to be able to assign a key command that allows users to pull all the stems into a sequence and stack them vertically.

Hi everyone,I’m running into a highly frustrating bug with workspaces in Premiere Pro, and I’m hoping to get some visibility so Adobe can finally fix it.Here is what’s happening: Every time I open a project, my panel sizes shift and resize themselves. I am fully aware of the "Import Workspace from Projects" option under the Window > Workspaces menu. I have intentionally made sure this is unchecked so that my global workspace stays locked and doesn't adapt to the project file. However, Premiere Pro completely ignores this setting. Even when it is told not to change the workspace, the panel sizes change every single time I load a project.Just to clarify, my actual workspace files are not corrupted. If I go to Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout, the workspace resets perfectly to my custom layout. The issue is strictly that opening a project forces a layout change despite the settings telling it not to.I shouldn't have to manually reset my workspace every single time I ope

This would enable the user to Right click using a contextual menu for "File>Export> Final Cut Pro  XML" command when active in Project Panel and (right) clicking on a sequence.

I’d like to suggest a small but very useful improvement to the Premiere Pro timeline UI.As shown in the screenshot, the track header area on the left takes up a significant amount of horizontal space. When working with multiple video and audio tracks, this reduces the amount of space available for the actual timeline and makes it harder to see more of the sequence at once.It would be great to have an option to collapse or minimize this left-side track control panel when we’re not actively using it, similar to how some other panels in Premiere can be collapsed.Ideally, there could be a small button or shortcut that would toggle between:Expanded: showing all the current track controls (lock, visibility, track targeting, mute/solo, etc.) Collapsed: showing only a minimal strip with the track labels or even just the track numbers. This would be especially useful when working on large timelines with many tracks, where horizontal screen space is extremely valuable. It could also be implemented

I’m pulling selects from an hour-long multicam interview and using markers to guide me. The problem is that my marker notes keep disappearing whenever I briefly switch to the timeline. It would be great to have the option to keep the Markers Panel focused on the Source, similar to how the Text panel lets you switch between Active and Fixed focus.

The Sequence Index window is a great addition to Premiere, thank you for that innovation. However, the reason I found out about it was because I was looking for a way to identify all clips in my sequence that I had scaled past 100%, so that I could upres them specifically to maintain quality. However, I was sad not to see this as an option.I think it would be very useful for productions. Thanks for your consideration

Hi Everyone,I hope you’re all doing well.|I've been a dedicated user of Premiere Pro for quite some time and love the robust features it offers for video editing. However, I've noticed that other platforms, such as CapCut, Descript, and Opus, provide more advanced options for animated captions and AI-driven features.Given the increasing demand for these functionalities, I find it somewhat inefficient to edit a reel in Premiere Pro and then export it to another program to finalize the captions. Does anyone know if there are plans to integrate more animated caption options and additional AI-driven tools directly within Premiere Pro in the near future?Thank you for your insights!

Please add adobe podcast right into premiere pro. The ehance speech just ins't the same as podcast, its much slower and honestly doesn't do as good as a job. And it's just tiring having to export the audio, throw it into podcast, then put it back into premiere. It's an extra step that could and should be streamlined.

Please add the Ukrainian language to the Transcription library. This is a very useful tool that, unfortunately, Ukrainian users cannot take advantage of. We have been waiting for a long time, and with the update, you're rolling out an "improved" mosaic. Meanwhile, this has been implemented in DaVinci for a long time...

I can add chapter markers to the Premier timeline, and when I go to encode out to an mp4 file, the metadata allows the markers box to be checked, and says it will encode into the mp4 stream. When I play this a player such as the VLC player, the chapter markers are not included. However, these chapter markers are included if this is done in Davinci Resolve, and are present in the video player like the VLC player.

There is no HDR setup, no HDR colour correcting and no in detail HDR Export

I want to put in a request as I just saw that the linear wipe effect has now been labeled “legacy” which i’m assuming means that it will no longer be updated and will eventually be removed. I often use this effect as a way to crop a slightly out-of-level video clip to a precise percentage in order to create completely vertical and horizontal elements in my videos. I understand that there is the native crop option, but there is no way to change the angle of each side of the crop so this does not work. I also understand that I could use an opacity mask but this method seems cumbersome. Not sure if anyone else uses the linear wipe effect this way, but it has been a huge help to me.

Add remote render monitoring to the Creative Cloud mobile app for Premiere Pro and Media Encoder: live progress, ETAs, failure/completion push notifications, and pause/cancel controls on desktop exports while away from your workstation.

In a multicam edit, the timeline labels each clip with its active angle ([MC1], [MC2], and so on), but Find in Timeline can't search for those labels. Searching "MC1" with Search set to All or Name returns nothing, even when the label is visible on dozens of clips. The angle label seems to be a display overlay, not a searchable clip property. Why this mattersAfter a multicam cut on an interview or panel, I often need to act on every instance of one angle at once:Apply a color correction, crop, or punch-in to only the B-cam cuts Swap every MC1 cut to MC2 when a client decides against an angle Check angle balance across the piece (am I sitting on the wide too long?) Find and fix every cut from a camera that had a focus, exposure, or sync issueRight now the options are to scrub the whole timeline and Cmd-click clips by eye, or search by the source clip name for a given angle. The second only goes so far, since a single angle can span many different clip names (card spans, multiple days, c

Please add the following settings1. Ability to disable zoom on the program window or change mouse scroll wheel behavior. While scrubbing on the timeline with the mouse wheel it's prone to accidentally moving the cursor over the video and unintentionally zooming causing a frustrating experience.2. Setting to disable the nodes on audio transitions in the sequence timeline. They make it more difficult to make edits in the timeline.   Mod note: The title was changed slightly

Currently the AI assistant in Beta is proving to be fairly useful to me for automating graphics via After Effects MOGRTs, but there is one big limitation - it is not able to read or set text values for source text essential properties.Letting it read and write text values would allow the assistant to automate titles, subtitles and captions by using MOGRT templates, without additional plug-ins.

For projects where assets are downloaded throughout the edit, this feature would automatically import any files within a locally stored project folder. For example if I have a folder - “Video A” - where all the rushes and assets for the video are stored, I could tell premiere to import anything added to “Video A” or any subfolders so if I download another asset mid-edit and it’s in “Video A”, it gets automatically imported.

Since the built-in speech-to-text transcription plugin in Premiere Pro is only ~65% accurate (if you count the punctuation mistakes) — which in mid-2025 (the age of reasoning super AIs is quite unprofessional for such a large company), why don't you switch to using Open AI's free Whisper API app? All the processing is done on the user's computer too.Free instructions on how to use it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABFqbY_rmEk You Could (but don't have to) also add an option to occasionally use the Cloud (like you do with the option in Photoshop to use local or Cloud-based Generative AI whenever it's needed) for more demanding audio transcription jobs.

The new masking options are great, but the stand alone mask files not so much! Especially in a professional environment where multiple editors are exporting projects and picking them up on a different machine. Right now if I export a selection as premiere project I have to manually copy the mask files to the save location. It would be amazing if the mask files were automatically collected for that sequence and copied to the save destination so you don’t have to track down mask files saved in a location that may not be obvious, or if they were saved locally on another editors machine inaccessible. Alternatively, this could be built into the project manager as a mask only collect feature.

When editing via a sequence opened in the Source Monitor and/or as a Source Sequence, it would be a great addition to have the option to enable the Multi-Camera view. Right now, it is greyed out (see picture below) and the only way to view more than one angle from my derushed sequence is to open the sequence in the program monitor or match framing to the original multicam clip. My workarounds a this moment :Editing with the copy/paste function from a derushed sequence opened in the program monitor, but this way, you can't have both the source and program monitor opened AND edit with the insert and overwrite function, the later being my preferred way to edit for track patching reasons.Setting a picture-in-picture effect to view multiple angles when which is not great for clarity of image and it gets time consuming on the long run to removed the effect - if edited. Editing from a source sequence is a huge time saver when assembling and/or revisiting a curated selection but
