Hi! I have a video file which is 1280x720 and I want to export it (with all the requisite scaling/cropping/etc) in 1080X1920. I do not want the video to be framed within the size of 1080X1920, but rather want the clip to remain its size and do all the machinations to make it fit (with bg and other things) in the 1080x1920 frame. I used to just use a new sequence with custom settings to do this, but now that changes the size of the clip I am using. I have no clue how to address this - the workaround has been ludicrous where I am upscaling the now downscaled clip and thus losing quality. Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Rob

Having difficulty figuring out how to Sync Settings from the cloud onto a new Mac. I jump from job to job to different companies and need to be able to upload my settings to Creative Cloud then sync these settings to the Mac at my new job. I did a google search but got confusing answers:https://helpx.adobe.com/my_ms/premiere-pro/using/sync-settings-cc.html It’d be especially helpful to be able to sync my custom Workspaces. Not sure if there’s an easy way to do that. From what I can tell, my custom workspaces, at the Finder level, don’t carry the name I give them in Premiere, so I can’t tell which one is which, or if I can drag them into Finder on another computer.

When trying to select a font, Premiere may freeze for a few seconds or crash completely; when a font is selected, the program takes several seconds to respond. This issue does not occur in version 25. This problem needs to be fixed in the next update. I reset the program settings

IssuePremiere Pro 26.0 fails to transcribe audible dialogue and displays “No dialogue found” when using MP4 files downloaded from YouTube via a third-party downloader. When I’m making changes with keyframes, the horizontal scolling of the keyframes timeline in the effect properties window doesn’t move or scroll whenever i play the video or click around in the video timeline. I’m constantly having to zoom out and in on the timeline and manually search left and right for the current play point. How do you toggle this to keep pace with the video timeline automatically?

Can someone please help me with this error code below. I am beginning to think that my entire project file is corrupted and I have no idea how else to fix this issue. I will list the things I did below that I tried to resolve this issue. I currently have Premiere 25.6.5 installed. Two things happen when I try to do the following, the error message or it just straight up crash. Adobe took away the ability to switch renderers so now that option is greyed out and there is no way to select software rendering. Everytime I press okay on the error window, the program window will just be black but it will still play the video.Restarted my computer multiple times full shut down multiple times Reinstalled premiere installed version 25.0 installed version 26.0.2 exported through Media Encoder updated computer updated graphics card copy/pasted timeline in another premiere file Render in and out before exporting deleted video and broll and tried exporting just audio tried exporting another sequence

It used to be the case that if I wanted to trim something out from the start of a clip that was already on the timeline, and not have to lock any of the other tracks, I could just move my playhead to where I wanted the clip to start, then Ctrl/Cmd+Click on the current in-point of the clip, and then drag it to the playhead, where it would snap. Everything would stay exactly where it was until I’d let go of the mouse button. At which point the gap would close and everything on those tracks would ripple along. But now, since updating to 26.0.1, for some unknown reason, when I try to use the ripple edit tool in the same way, everything ripples across in real time, which makes it almost impossible to see where my desired in-point is, unless I first put a marker on the footage first (which even then sometimes doesn't work, because sometimes the markers disappear when the ripple tool is in use). Or, I just move the in-point to where I want it, then click the gap and delete it.I just don’t und

Hi allMovavi has some modules that you can plug into their timelines that allows for fancy moving graphics where you just change the text, colours etc to input.  I use them for intros and ads.I used Premiere Pro a few years ago but have forgotten the detail of its features - including whether it has similar modules (or the ability to create them)?I’m pretty sure it will - but want to check before I consider migrating over. I realise i can’t import Movavi and need to recreate everything but love the flexibility that you have with PP.  Oh, and the ability to re-scale timeline rwos.I did look at Divince Resolve but it wasn’t obvious that you could do this (re the modules) - which for me, creates the risk of accidently altering whatever I set up.  Hence why I like Movavi’s approach (but it has other drawbacks)TaNeil 

Before going to 26.3.0 beta I could open the Lumetri Color panel and select “auto” to roughly adjust color and levels as a starting point. I liked this.In the new Color system I can’t find an “auto” button. I am using macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 on a Macbook M4 Pro. I have been fighting with Adobe Premiere (both 25.6.5 and 26.2) because none of my hotkeys are working whatsoever. I’ve been having to manually click tools, the playback buttons, and timeline area to get anything to work. The spacebar seems to like to open a new instance of premiere every time I press it, which is tough because I usually use that key to stop/start playback. When Premiere 26.2 is first opened, I get an error saying ‘The shortcut key file “Adobe Premiere Pro Defaults.kys” is invalid!’ and the app resumes loading. That same error does not pop up in 25.6.5, but the symptoms are the same. Here’s what I’ve done so far:I’ve held option while opening, and reset the prefs/cache/plugins numerous times I’ve completely uninstalled all Adobe apps and Creative cloud, and used Adobe’s ‘Creative Cloud Uninstaller’. Having issues with this since updating to 2019. Basically, after importing a clip into the timeline everything is as it should be (video plays, audio plays) but the audio waveform does not show up until it's played through so I cannot visually see the audio waves unless I play/skip through the whole clip, which obviously makes editing a lot slower. Attached an example. Image 1 is the clip just imported to the timeline and image 2 is after playing through a few seconds (as you can see the audio only shows up after I've played through the clip and the remaining audio waves are still blank)Any help would be appreciated!Using Windows and Adobe Premiere Pro 2019.

Hey, since a couple of days Premiere Pro Auto Transcript is not working anymore. It is showing me “No dialogue found” even if there is a clear dialogue. I tried to change audio from mono to stereo, cleared the programme cache, deinstalled and reinstalled the programme again (as well as several times restarting) - nothing works.  Also not in the Beta Version.  I am using the Premiere Pro 26.2.on a HP Spectre laptop. My colleague with a Mac has no problem transcribing my files.  Can somebody please help I am kinda hopeless at this point. Thanks!

I’m just starting to dig into developing UXP plugins for Premiere and the document and examples on GitHub are a huge help.  One place I’ve sort of hit a brick wall on is updating a clips position.  I’m essentially following the same process as updating Scale but where I’ve found the most difficulty is in how to create the new position coordinates.  The following code works to updating the position but instead of it being 540, 1270, it’s updating to 32767, 32767 which makes me feel like the PointF (values its drawing from are undefined). No errors or other indicators in UXP Dev Tools or Premiere that an error is occurring.  Anyone have any knowledge/insight here? I’m trying to animate some still images and the clip on track V2 is not showing up in the Program Monitor.  In screenshot 1 what is showing in the Program Monitor is the image from V1.  If I toggle that track off, as shown in screenshot 2, the clip above it on V2 does not appear.  Why not?  Thank you.    

So, I've had this problem for years now, but always found some way to work around it without fixing the problem.I edit a video and when I'm done and wanting to export soon, I notice problems with nested sequences. I know there have been a lot of similar, solved cases, but none of the explanations helped for me. It's not like Premiere can't find the clips, just random parts of those nested sequences are blank. If I click on the sequences that are making problems, the clips inside look perfectly fine. This has costed me countless hours over the years.Thanks in advance!

After the latest updates to Premiere 2026, when I create a color matte to mask something in my video using the Color Picker, the color that Premiere uses to create the color matte is darker than the original color I selected.Same computer, just after an update.  In the example, I tried to create this circle to cover the area where the mouse cursor is. I used the color picker to select that specific dark gray, but it created a darker Color Matte ( oval circle).I’ve always done this and never had any problems.

After exporting my edited film in Premiere Mobile colours look much darker. Why is that?I used: iPhone 15 pro, filmed with Apple log, latest IOS versionI tried different clips and always it looks darker after export. As soon I do not any grade on the clips everything looks fine and identical between app and exported file.

We have only one powerful machine  at office but all developers work remotely on their laptops so  we are following this approach.   →  On powerful machine i,e workstation we have same set of files of videos (high resolution) which we will render .You can see my nested sequence timeline as shown below in the attachmentWe tried to export with fcpxml but there  effects and  animations were getting removed. so we switched to generating .prproj file sending it  AME automatically as a job. 

 Until yesterday I used frame.io V4 in Premiere 26.2.0 with no problem. Today opening the window frame.io in premiere there is a message “something went wrong”.Even if I reload the window this message appears.The Login in my frame.io V4 account via the Browser  https://accounts.frame.io/welcome?legacy_auth=false&auth_callback=adobe%2Bppro://frameio works well: “Authentication complete. Please return to Premiere Pro.” But in premiere it doesn’t work (“something went wrong”).Opening frame.io via the application-page in creative cloud let me work with my frame.io-account within the browser - but not with premiere (“something went wrong”). The same if I sign in at the frame.io-page.I deleted all cache-files, most recently I reinstalled Premiere 26.2.0. No success.Win11, no system-changes since yesterday… No problem with internet-connection.Thanks for help!

Playhead doesn't even move anymore, playback is getting worse and worse, adding captions causes a 5-15 sec delay on start/stop timeline play, None of this was ever an issue until recently, what the heck is going on?I've done the following: Cleared media cache Reset preferences Closed Audio Mixer, Effect Controls, and other windows Opened and started a new project Updated GPU drivers Tried a newer version of Premiere Checked RAID health (all is good) I'm still having issues; it's been 2 weeks, and it's getting pretty irritating, my workflow is slowing to a crawl and it's effecting my deadlines. Please anyone. Help.
