When I put footage into Premiere 2026, and generate captions it is always NEVER aligned with the footage, either shifted ahead or behind, which is a HUGE timewaster for myself.This happens with captions, but even when I turn the captions into Graphics, it’s the same issue. Not sure if there is a fix for this, captions to be more aligned, or something that’ll save me way more time than fixing 200+ captions on a video..

Hi all - I have a subtitles track on my timeline and want to move it in sync with the audio track. Is this possible? I can move the audio track but not the subtitles track. Thank you in advance. Paul

The render preset stopped working, and I can't save new presets. Stop messing with the program! 

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where keyboard shortcuts and basic timeline controls like cut, trim, ripple delete, and play or pause sometimes stop working. Can’t open the latest Premiere Pro 26.2.2.When I try to open it I get this message - “Premiere Pro requires access to the following folders: Desktop”When I open system preferences Premiere has Full Disk Access.By the way 25.6.5 version works fine. The problem is that I have a project in newest version.Any solutions?

My recent Premiere project files have disappeared after the 26.0 update. Nothing in the auto save folders, nothing anywhere. It says the last time I opened that file was May of 2026, because I opened it a couple of weeks ago and used it.Plus all of my presets for editing workspaces were gone as well. I’m editing an interview shot on two cameras plus a separate audio recorder in Premiere Pro. I synced everything with Merge Clips and made a multicam sequence, but after switching angles a few times, the audio sometimes drifts slightly out of sync with the video, especially in longer clips.I’ve checked that all clips use the same frame rate, and I synced by audio waveform. Should I sync by timecode or by an in point marker instead? Is there a setting I’m missing that fixes drift in longer multicam sequences?Any tips or a recommended workflow would help. Thanks!

Ao criar uma máscara para desfocar o rosto de uma pessoa em movimento, por exemplo, o vídeo no preview fica quase todo preto, só aparece normal se pausar a timeline. Só resolve o problema se renderizar o vídeo e continuar editando. É um bug no preview, que impede de ajustar a máscara. Já verifiquei e nao tem atualizações 

I have an interview with multiple cameras, and to organize it I have subclipped and labeled each question individually. Is there a way to “copy” these subclips to the other camera angles so I don’t have to do them all over again for each camera? (The cameras are timecode synced) Thanks!

I’m running into serious issues with my Adobe Premiere workflow, and can’t seem to find any solutions for it.Whenever I work on anything in Adobe Premiere Pro on my iMac, after a while I’ll suddenly get the spinning wheel of death and my computer will freeze. The spinning wheel will eventually disappear after 4-5 minutes, but the computer will remain frozen and eventually shut down after another 4-5 minutes.No specific action seems to prompt this, nor does it occur after any specific span of time. It appears completely random when the crash occurs. This happens with multiple projects of varying length (files sizes are between 268 KB and 1.9 MB.The system I’m running on:iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020Processor: 3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GBMemory: 40 GB 2133 MHz DDR4Startup Disk: Macintosh HDmacOS: Sonoma 14.6.1Storage Space: 572.63 GB available of 1 TB.I started encountering this when working on Adobe 2024, and upgraded to the latest version, 26.5.1.

I haven't found a solution to this yet - seems to be a bug. Any help would be appreciated! Premiere Pro v15 2021AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.80 GHz64.0 GB DDR4 RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX970 GPUWindows 10 pro 64bit Every time I select a clip and adjust an effect (even motion / capacity), the effects panel disappears and "no clip selected" comes up, even though I definitely do have a clip selected. I then have to click on and off the clip several times to make the effects panel show again (and not show "no clip selected") I've noticed from forums that this is a very old and as yet unresolved bug. Ironically I didn't have this problem on 2020 and earlier versions. The only fix I've found is that if you do a quick save ctrl+s it refreshes which brings back the effects panel. Obviously I don't want to do this every time! 

I've been experiencing this bug for a long time now (at least 2 years).When I add volume level keyframes to an audio clip, they're usually linear by default, so I'll right click on them and choose a different interpolation if needed.In the example below, I changed the third keyframe to Ease Out - all the others are linear.As expected, the volume fades according to the keyframes and will continue to do so for as long as Premiere open. But, when I export the sequence, the audio in the export is completely different (volume increases and decreases unexpectedly), and there is no evidence in Premiere that anything has changed - the volume levels look and sound normal.It's only when I quit Premiere and relaunch it that I can see and hear what's happening. The picture below is the same audio clip after relaunching Premiere.So, despite the clip looking and sounding normal in the original session (first picture), it actually exports according to the changes that have occurred in the second pict

Export itself is successful, but the signed file contains at least one invalid ingredient What does this mean? How do I correct this?

With Premiere Pro 2025 suddendly my captions are not showing anymore in the program monitor. Nor does titles work.I have tried everything:- Making sure it is activated,- Trying to reset preferences- Trying to delete media cache- Restsarting the app- Importing an old project where titles work But nothing works.  When I reinstall Premiere Pro 2024 the captions and titles work perfect. I open the same old project in 2024 and the captions are there both on timeline and program monitor, but on 2025 they are only on timeline and will not be exported if I hit export and even though I mark the 'burn captions into video' option. I'm running Mac Os Ventura 13.6.1 (22G313) with 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 and AMD Radeon RX 570 8 GB - 3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W Shouldn't such a setup be able to handle this? 

The project save feature isn't working. I save the project, but then Premiere freezes, and the last 5 minutes of my work aren't saved. That's not good. I save every 30 seconds, but I don't see those saves.I have to redo the editing.

I save my preset settings, but when I load them, the window layout gets messed up—some windows just don’t show up, and my workspace is in chaos. The saving feature isn’t working properly; when I try to load the preset, Adobe rearranges the windows however it wants and closes many tabs. Where’s the logic in that? Who let this happen? I thought that if I saved the window layout, I’d be able to restore it when I restart. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work? Why close windows or hide them completely? There’s no logic to this.

 Hello how are you I have a problem with exporting videos in adobe premier it takes a very long time for a 5 min video with basic effects of premier color grandin etc my specs are rtx 3070ti i5 14400 32 gb ram ddr5 with old pc I had xenon e5 2667 v3 and rtx there the export finishes much faster how can I solve this problem thanks 

I can’t drag anything in Premiere, even the position/scale values; I click and attempt to drag 3-5 times before it finally lets me, but only for a few seconds before it cancels my dragging input. Now the issue has made its way to my After Effects comps as well. I have had this problem for almost a year, but it’s gotten so bad that it is practically unusable. I am a full-time freelance editor. I have to work around this issue DAILY. This problem continues to affect my turnaround time, and therefore, my income. It is insane that issues like this are so common for an editing suite that costs this much.
