In the screenshots, I sent what it shows on my screen. As of right now, I am using a ryzen 7 7800x3d, radeon 9060 xt, 32gb ddr5 ram. My Adrenalin Software for my gpu and cpu says “Up to Date” with a 26.5.1 update

Same issue. Was using fine on the 3 May 26, now on 7 May, there’s an issue.

I’m running Win 11 on an AMD machine with AMD Radeon 9070 GPU. Saw that GPU Sniffer had an instance running for every attempt I made, both on launch and exit. All system components are current.

Maybe a clue: I tried Pr Beta 26.3. It threw different error suggesting I don’t have enough GPU memory. (See attached screenshot.) In fact, I have 16GB of GPU memory; twice recommended. Adobe recommended GPU requirements

Adobe / AMD: I hope you all are reading this. You should have plenty of report samples as I hit “Send” on every crash.

Update: I just tried downgrading two driver versions for my 9070 with Adrenalin 26.2.1. Premiere 26.2.2 appears to be working. Here’s the AMD link I used.

When I install the driver version, it says my download failed. I’m not sure if you experienced this as well or it is just a ‘me’ thing. For a bit of context, I did the Version 26.2.1 without the AI Bundle. I posted some pictures to what I see

I am experiencing the same issue. As previously noted, a driver downgrade is necessary. This bug appeared with the AMD graphics card update released on May 6th. The stable version of Premiere crashes, and the Beta version fails to launch entirely. I hope Adobe provides an update as soon as possible, as it is quite inconvenient to maintain older drivers due to this software conflict.

What GPU version did you go back to? I also tried this with no change.

Hey zenithh, i found a solution to this problem. Just rollback your GPU update to the previous version, AMD f*cked something up and gpu intenstive programs don’t work properly on their newest version. Since we have almost the exact same setup im confident this will help you. (i’m with 9070 rx gpu, 7800x3d cpu, 32 ddr5 ram.)
