The outline of the mask not showing at all when creating a mask in any situation in premiere 2026

Issue – I cannot seem to get the Responsive Design-Position to work when trying to pin a shape to text. I’ve tried multiple times, restarted computer and Premiere... Steps to reproduce – I create a text layer, inside properties I create a shape and then restack the shape to be below the text. I select the shape and scroll down to RD-P and select the text I want to pin to and hit the PLUS shaped pin to corner button to the right. The X and Y axis numbers change, but the box doesn’t change shape or size and when I type more text the box doesn’t change size to accommodate text.  Expected result – The color shape box should change size to the size of the amount of text and change size if text goes beyond border of the box. Actual result – Nothing. Premiere automatically replaces a deleted video file with another file with the same name found in other folders on the drive. More details. I was given two flash drives containing video from different cameras, even from different shooting days. But the file names in the folders are the same. Both are Sony cameras. The files in the first folder start with C001, and the files on the second flash drive also start with C001. I import these files into Premiere. All the files are in different folders. Each camera has its own Composition (Sequence). I start editing. I find the defective shots and immediately delete these files from the computer drive so they don't take up space. Previously, Premiere would immediately display an error that the file is now unavailable (it can't find the file), and Premiere would open a window asking me to find the file manually. I see which files it can't find and then simply delete them from the project. But now Premiere simply replaces the deleted file from

IN version 25.6.4 and version 26 if we put an audio in timeline it repeat itself . full song not playable and that song works fine in older version same time . tried to clean cache and etc files bt none of worked , tired of this bug . please help me asap. thank you 

Premiere 2026 is freezing each time I make changes: an effect, the size, add text - everything! The Play button is freezing too. The changes are not visible after rendering. And not I'm not able to use an earlier version to finish the project.

After creating Object Mask 01, Premiere Pro does not highlight or enable the options needed to create a second object mask. While Object Mask 02 is technically created, no overlay appears. To restore the subject highlighting, I have to save the project, close Premiere Pro, and then restart both the application and the project.

Premiere Pro 2026 v 26.0Multicam functionality is gone. Using the number keys or mouse to select a camera does not work.

Issue – The last 2 versions of Premiere (at least) have had issues with WAV files playing, and after trying many different things to fix it, I’m sure it must be a bug in the software introduced with the updates. When importing WAV files into the timeline they will play for a while, and then after short period, or a few moves of the playhead, they will stop. In text based editing, transcribing does not recognise that there is any audio there at all. Opening old files that had perfectly functioning audio previously, now plays no audio despite the files still being there. Adobe can find the files on my PC (I checked through reveal in explorer), and clearing the media cache and resetting to default settings has not changed this. The files do not work when using render and replace, or if opened in Audition from Premiere.MP4 and MP3 sound work fine. Right-click inside the Timeline panel. Select “Link Media.” Result: No action occurs. Expected Result:The Link Media dialog box should open, allowing relinking of offline media. This happened in every version of premiere previously where I cloud re-link from the timeline, and all the files that were missing in the NESTED parts as well had that. Now i have to individually go to every nest to re-link files. This slows down my workflow significantly. Actual Result:No response. The interface remains unchanged. Issue – I run two PC editing computer labs. In versions 25 and 26 (newest) of PP, when we click on any drop menu option (“Workspaces” drop menu on main screen, any drop menus in the Preferences section such as Audio hardware, etc.) the drop menu shows up for about one second then dissapears. Steps to reproduce – for example, go to Preferences → Audio Hardware → and click Input to reveal teh drop menu for all the inputs. You can also do this with the Workspaces dropmenu option in the upper-right  corner of PP Expected result –teh drop menu should show up and stay available until you choose an item from it Actual result – the drop menu options will show up for a half-second to one sec and dissapear before you can click anything. For bins with lots of clips in them, Set Poster Frame can be invaluable in quickly seeing which clips are which, as many of the clips I work with start with black, so the default Poster Frame of the first frame of the clip isn’t useful. I used to have no problem using Set Poster Frame. However, now, whenever I try to use it, nothing happens. I upgraded to PP 2026.0.0 and it still doesn’t work. I’m on a MacBook Pro M2 Max 2023 OS 26.3.

Frame.io v4 panel opens and I when I select “Get Started” to login into my Frame.io account. It just gets stuck at “Authenticating... Please continue in browser”. It would normally open up my broswer to authenicate, but it is not doing that now. It was working like normal in Premiere 2025 or the previous version. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution to this?

There seems to be a bug in Premiere 2024 (latest update) where when I import a .scc file originally created in Telestream Caption Maker, and have music symbols around lyrics of a concert, a lot of the closing music note symbols around lyrics are not there, causing me to have to replace them.  They are in the original caption and .scc files before importing into Premiere.  Very time consuming and irratating to have to replace these!  This has happened on two separate concerts I have captioned in Premiere.Thanks- 

I just updated to 2026 Premiere and every single time I open my project it crashes before it can open. Switching back to 2025

Desde hace casi un mes cambie mi computador de uno windows a una Macbook M5 PRO, desde que hice el cambio el premiere ha estado teniendo errores al momento de realizar la transcripción, ya sea que omite palabras, o simplemente las detecta como otra cosa que no tiene nada que ver con lo que dice el video, intente muchas soluciones, como borrar cache, desinstalar y volver a instalar todo, pero aun asi, nada, sigo sin solución, todo mi trabajo he tenido que hacerlo manual (el tema de la transcripcion, ya que la unica solucion que encontre fue pasarlo a mi pc windows hacer la transcripcion y luego volver a la mac, pero es un lio total, ya que compre la Macbook, por temas de viaje y ya que no siempre puedo estar en mi PC windows de escritorio, espero puedan ayudarme a solventar este problema, gracias de antemano 

Spell Checker in Premiere Pro not working at all when reviewing captions in the text function. Despite newer versions in both premier and macOS coming out the problem continues. Help?Premeir Version 26.0.1 (Build 3)Apple M2 Max 96GB MemorymacOS Tahoe Version 26.3 

Before updating to Premiere Pro 2025 Version (25.3),  2024 was working perfect and never had this issue. ever since the update I'm struggling with this issue. I stopped the "Generating Peak file"  thinking it would help. But Still every time its reopened its stuck doing the same.     

So I have updated the Premiere Pro from 25.6.4 to 26.0 and it updated smoothly, then I continued the editing. When I was still in Premiere Pro and decided to move files from one bin/folder to another folder, the software was suddenly not responding then crashing. Well it’s complicated because this happens everytime I reproduce the steps until now. It won’t happen if I do cut/copy then paste, but files can’t use cut feature. Please help me with this case ASAP because this didn’t happen in previous version. Only 26.0 version that causes this issue.

I have Premiere set to save the cache in my D drive. I’ve had this set this way for some time and never had an issue since I did it.Today, the program keeps saving on my C drive, in the public folder for some unknown reason, even though it’s still set to put those files in my D drive in a set cache folder.

It allows the user to select: a brand (which affects the template colors), a language among 9 available (which affects the called font, kerning, leading, etc.), a format (16:9 or 9:16), and then template-specific parameters (text input fields, X/Y position offsets, safe zone display, etc.). Since the launch of these templates within the company two weeks ago, we have been facing massive feedback from users, which completely calls into question the workflow we had planned to improve the branding of our video productions.In this thread, I will detail a first issue related to fonts, affecting certain letters within certain words (it appears very random).The issue can be observed both during editing in the timeline and in the final export.The letters that seem to lose their connection to the correct typography are chosen complete

I'm running 25.4.1 and I am not able to import an XML from Resolve. When I try to import the file I get an error message without any details or explanation.   Has anyone else run into that lately?
