Approximately every other edit, the application becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds to a minute. I just updated to 2026 Premiere and every single time I open my project it crashes before it can open. Switching back to 2025

Running an M3 Max Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.5 with an external monitor as well as a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Extreme playing out to a monitor. After updating to Premiere 25.4 now all thumbnails in the markers panel as well as the search panel are glitched/distorted. Was working fine prior to update. When scrubbing over shots in the search panel hover scrub works fine but then goes back to the glitched image when moving off of it. Have tried wiping cache, made new markers. When viewing a bin in icon or freeform view the thumbnails are fine. This is limited to the markers and search panels.

Premiere 26.2.0 build 65 Since the update, I've been experiencing instability and slowdown issues in the interface.

Got this today. My sequence pixel aspect ration is 1.0, the footage I use has 1,7. Normally Premiere has no problems with that and define pixel aspect ration correctly. No the interpret footage says the PAR is unknown and brings the clip into the project in this state: A fix is manual interpreting. Version 26.0.2 had no problem with the same file.

I just updated to premiere version 26.2.0 (from 26.0.2). Everything was working fine before the update. NOW.... when I move any type of clip on my timeline (by dragging the clip), premiere crashes EVERY time. I did the preferences reset. Did not make a difference. This happens when I open an existing project OR when I create a new project.In the meantime, I downgraded back to 26.0.2 and everything works 

Since updating to 26.2.0 I have an issue where the anchor point will no longer appear on any clip in the program monitor and I have to restart the application to see it again. It happens repeatedly, but I’m unsure what triggers it. I am on Windows 11, using the NVIDIA Studio Driver version 595.79 A fix would be greatly appreciated!

The “Delete All Pauses” feature in Adobe Premiere Pro is straight up broken for me now.It used to work perfectly before, but now it doesn't after the update.I set the pause length to 0.01sec but when I press Delete / Extract / Delete All, it removes some parts but leaves a lot of gaps behindI’m doing the exact same thing I used to do before, but now it’s not WORKING!!!!Feels like something changed after the update because this was not an issue at all before.Is anyone else having this problem ? Can you please help me resolve it?

Hi everyone,I hope someone can help me, because I'm going crazy...I have the latest version of Premiere Pro, 26.2.0 (build 65)My computer is a Ryzen 7 3800X with 32 GB of RAM and an RTX 5070 Studio 595.79, with SSDs, all running Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26200. In theory, based on all the benchmarks I’ve run, the system should be more than capable of handling Premiere Pro quite well. Well, with any video, even at 1080p, I experience constant frame drops in the preview when I import it into my project. This makes it impossible for me to edit any video. I’ve tried everything—using proxies, clearing the media cache, reinstalling Premiere, reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers—nothing fixes it... What could be causing this? I don’t know what else to do... By the way, I’m a bit of a newbie at this, but I’m a computer scientist and I can handle complex tasks.Thanks in advance to everyone... 

I am experiencing a critical issue with Adobe Premiere Pro 26.0.1 on Mac M5. The speech-to-text transcription feature produces entirely inaccurate results. Even with very clear audio, the transcript does not reflect what is said in the video. For a 2-minute video, the transcription output is completely wrong and unusable. Audio files and everything else are the right ones and there is nothing wrong with them, double checked;)

We work in broadcast TV and our source material is recorded and broadcasted in 1920x1080 50i (interlaced).Version 26 is not treating interlaced video the same as previous versions (25.xx)Issue: Interlaced footage not playing back correctly when speed has been changed Steps to Reproduce: Right click on shot and change speed Expected Result: Smooth looking speed up shot (works fine in v25) see attached Actual Result: Combing and ghosting – jerky playback in V26, see attached Premiere Version: 26.0.2 Operating System: Windows 11 Enterprise, Version 25H2, OS Build 26200.8037 GPU Driver (Windows only): 31.0.101.5522Attached is the same frame in both versions.V26 is not playable quality wise.We cannot upgrade our systems because for this. 

I am editing a documentary series and have a few thousand media assets in the project.Premiere used to start and then do a quick relink of media (maybe 5 minutes) - now it takes a few hours. I’m on Version 26.01 right now - and I think I’ve tried every update through to 26.2 and they all do it.I can’t try it on any of the Pr 25 versions because it won’t open the project file since it was most recently saved in 26.All the files are on an external drive, and this worked fine until now.I don’t even understand why it has to check the media at the start - why not just assume it is all there - and if it isn’t then that’s on the user to sort out and relink. Or at least give the option to bypass relinking at boot up.This essentially makes Premiere unusable for me, and if there isn’t a quick solution there’s no point continuing to pay for this programme.Has anyone solved this problem?

Issue: Severe visual glitch (pink/purple block covering the bottom half of the frame) during playback of Canon C50 Open Gate .CRM files.Steps to reproduce: Import Canon C50 Open Gate Cinema RAW Light (.CRM) footage into a project. Add the clip to the timeline or preview it in the Source Monitor. Play back the footage with the Video Renderer set to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal). Plusieurs effets déjà ont disparu comme Travel Motion que j’avais l’habitude d’utiliser, et la transcription est une catastrophe. En clair, elle ne détecte plus rien du tout donc plus de textes ni de sous titres… je suis donc repassé à la version 26.0.2.A vous de faire les corrections nécessaires à la prochaine, je ne vois aucune utilité à celle là…Damien

Detailed Bug ReportSystem Environment: Device: HP OMEN 16-ah0xxx (2026 Model) CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (Arrow Lake Architecture) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU (16GB VRAM) RAM: 64GB DDR5 (5600MHz) OS: Windows 11 Home Single Language (Build 26200.8246) Display Setup: Internal 165Hz display + External ASUS VG27AQL1A via HDMI (1440p @ 144Hz) The Issue: In Premiere Pro v26.2, clicking or hovering over any item on the top menu bar (File, Edit, Clip, Sequence, etc.) causes a significant UI hang/freeze lasting 2 to 5 seconds. This issue is most severe when an external high-refresh-rate monitor is connected.Observations & Technical Data: Monitoring via Task Manager shows that during the menu click, GPU 0 (Intel Integrated Graphics) spikes to 40-50% utilization, while GPU 1 (RTX 5080) remains at 1-2%. It appears that the UI rendering thread is being incorrectly routed through the iGPU instead of the dGPU, creating a bottleneck on the new Intel Ultra 9 architecture.

Premiere Pro y la version Beta tengo problemas con la funcion de transcripcion, no detecta nada y dice que las pistas de audio estan silenciadas, no transcribe ningun clip por mas audio que tenga 

On opening Premiere, I get a normal screen showing my recent projects, but behind is it another screen with just the title and menu bars. Trying to open a recent project on the front screen takes a long time - over one minute (used to be seconds) or longer. I get no feedback after this click. Double-clicking the selected project does not change things. Windows Resource Monitor shows very little CPU activity or memory use, but a lot of Disk activity.  If I then close the front window and open a recent project from the rear window, the project opens, but is slow, particularly on timeline play head movement. Export is unresponsive. I am unable to do my editing work as a result.

This is a problem I've seen for a couple of Adobe Premiere Pro versions now and lately on Premiere Pro V 26.0.2. How to replicate:1 - Duplicate your video track by ALT+drag and place the new track above the old one (so same video in V1 and V2). 2 - Create a Freeze frame on the top layer.3 - Bug: the top layer won't freeze. But if you hide the layer below (V1) or move the layer below to later in the time line the V2 layer will freeze and work as expected. Workaround is to use freeze frame segment instead or simply move the layer below to layer in the time line. But quite annoying bug that's been around for a while. I'm on a PC and I've been able to replicate this on multiple computers. 

The problem appeared in the public version 26.2.0 after the last update: each timeline zoom (and sometimes selecting several clips on the timeline) causes the program to freeze for several minutes. More than that, during this freeze, the whole system stacks up, and we have to wait until Premiere starts working again. I saw this problem during the last months in Premiere Pro Beta, but now it’s in a public Premiere as well. What could be done to solve it?

I’ve started to get black frames at the end of transitions. I know that there was this problem in Premiere 24, but I have never had this issue, but now I do in Premiere 26.0.2.It happens randomly and I could not define the circumstances.  It happens bot with third party transitions and the native ones. I first saw the black frames in the Production crate transitions, so I emailed them but they could not reproduce it. Now it turns out that it can happen with Premiere’s own transitions like dissolve or ex-FilmImpact, Push for example (you will see it in the video below, that it happens with Push bit BorisFX transitions immediately have no issue, and thew issue comes back when I apply another Premiere Pro transition) It happens with normal clips, nested or time-remapped ones.Here’s how it looks: Steps to reproduce: start Premiere, work on a project, add a transition.Pr 26.0.2, Win11 25h2, RTX 4080 with latest NV drivers, i7-14700K

Frame.io v4 panel opens and I when I select “Get Started” to login into my Frame.io account. It just gets stuck at “Authenticating... Please continue in browser”. It would normally open up my broswer to authenicate, but it is not doing that now. It was working like normal in Premiere 2025 or the previous version. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution to this?

Unbelievably frustrating to have to troubleshoot which tracks randomly mute themselves in the edit and having to rebuild the timeline in a different sequence to fix it.

Premiere is open, I click the icon in the Dock or CMD-TAB to it, and it doesn't become active. Premiere stays in front while the menu bar reflects that Finder is active. This doesn't happen when I use third party file viewers like Pathfinder. MacOS 13.6.9
