I am experiencing major export issues with Premiere 26.2.2 . Exports go to 98 percent and freeze I get a Low Level Exception error message. I tried exports from multiple projects and sequence that use different media all with the same result. I rolled back to 26.2.0 and still had the same issues. Went back to 25.6.5 and can’t open my project error this project was saved in a newer version. I have a client asking when they will see the cut…  I’m on Windows 11 Pro HP Z Book Fury Laptop i9  13950HX NVIDA GPU RTX 4000 Ada Driver 591.86  I guess I will try going back to the earliest 26 Version need to try and get this project out to client.

    Hi @fredericks20288310
Can you share the project file with us? Feel free to send me the project files if you're able. So far, I have not run into any issues when exporting H264 from Win11 on an AMD 9 RTX 4080. It would be nice to take a look at your project.

There are rendering issues in V 26.2.2 . Final Render takes huge amount of time, hangs at 1% and keep increasing Estimated time . Even Timeline render (Ender, Shift+Enter or Ctrl+Ender) does not work properly.

You might try updating your driver, I go some ways with the nvidia drivers if it’s been working well, (and if I login to nVidia recently near an update), and I’m using

    Driver Version:596.36 Release Date:Tue Apr 28, 2026

So you might give that a try, make sure it’s the STUDIO Version

Actually did that and a clean install right before you posted. So great idea. You can see my reply below. H.264 still can not export from Premiere 26.2.2  it stalls and I get Low Level Exception errors . But it will export from ME. so some sort of issue on 26.2.2 the program also Does not respond when closing a project, locks up. Problems not seen with older software versions

FWIW: I just exported a 5:00 min production based project direct from PP 26.2.2 and all was well (h264). I then tried to send it to Media Encoder and got an error loading it, twice. I quit PP and tried loading ME from Windows and I got an error again. Going to reboot my machine now and try again.

OK, rebooted and all worked well.

That Pro Res LT Quicktime export went right through. So the Export bug relates to H.264 files.  I hope it gets solved soon.

Thanks for your reply and the workaround. I now always leave an old version of Premiere on my computer. for these types of situations. Yes I was exporting H.264 files for client screeners. By the way exports got stuck at 98 percent or gave a Low Level exception Error on all versions of 26. I was able to do an XML export from 26 to 25 and successfully  exported my H.264 sequence in 4K and 1 K first time no issues just like normal.  Is the 26 bug related to H.264 outputs only? I will try what you mentioned above and see if that works in Version 26. Please let me know if I can be of assistance in helping get a fix for this bug.

You don´t provide any details, but i guess that you are exporting to H.264. So to get it exported to your client it will probalby work if you export to ProRes LT by selecting the QuickTime as the Format rather than H.264.

This will give you a way larger file than the H.264, so use Media Encoder to transcode it to H.264 for your client. When done, delete the ProRes LT file to free up some space on your disk. It gets the job done.

So I did a clean install of 26.2.2 and I updated my Nvidia driver to the latest version 596.36 studio.  When exporting from Premiere I still get H.264 exports that stall at 98 percent and then I get a Low Level exception error. When I export Quicktime ProRes LT the export works fine.  The problem is repeatable every time with different projects ,media, drives etc. When I export a sequence to ME H.264 works fine as well as the Quicktime. Once again repeatable everytime. I am getting Not Responding issues when closing down Premiere however.  Hope that helps solve the issue.
