I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro Version 24.4.1. (Build 2) and still get this error message every single time

A low-level exception occured in

mlc.dll (GetAVICodecs)

How can I fix this error?

Hi matthiasb22762405,

Thanks for checking in. Sorry that you have not heard back from the team yet. Is there anything more you can tell us about your system? See, How do I write a bug report?

In other cases like this, the webcam .dll had been interfering. I am not sure what mlc.dll does or controls. Learning a bit more about that item might be helpful.

I hope we can assist you with this shortly. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

I work with all kinds of codecs and media files. I get the error message at the start regardless of opening an existing or new project.

Hi matthiasb22762405,

Sorry about the poor experience. We can get this checked. Let us know when exactly you are getting this error. Also, what is the format & codec of the media files you are working with?

Thanks,

Sumeet
