Adobe Productions folders closing on their own about half the time.

We have started using adobe productions at my office. I've come across a bug that I can only seem to replicate on my machine.

When expanding folders at the root production tab, if I go into a subfolder and try to click a project, it will usually close the folders. Sometimes even making entire folders disappear for a few seconds before reappearing. (almost as if its refreshing from the server)

So far nobody else has experienced this issue, my workaround is just trying to again, and hoping to double click that project quickly.

So far I have had IT, reinstall 24.4.1 premiere, and now I've rolled back to 24.3.0 but the issue still persists.

I'm using the latest version of Jump to login to my work computer.
24.4.1 Build 2 Adobe Premiere
Mac Studio - Apple M1 Max, 64 GB
OS Sonoma 14.5

I have included a clip with 2 examples of it closing the folders without clicking anything.

We would love to gain a better understanding of why this is happening.  If you do move to a faster switch, please rerport back here and let us know the outcome - it will be good information for us regardless of which direction it goes.

If ther are any other minor differences between your machine and the others (OS, NexisClientManager version, additional hardware attached, etc), please also don't hesitate to share.

Hi Ben,

Yes we are on a nexis. Thanks for the tip on that. Interesting enough it seems to only happen to my machine, which is the same as all the other editors. I do believe I'm possibly on a slower network switch to the nexis, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I'm trying to get IT to move my tower to the faster switch to see if I can eliminate that theory. Will circle back if I have any updates.

@tkeller are you using a Nexis? I think I see the icon down there in your dock.

We have other users reporting this issue when a production is hosted on a Nexis volume. If possible, host your production from a non-Nexis network loctation. This would be the quickest fix as we continue to investigate the root cause of this issue.

Your media can continue to live on the Nexis.

Thanks for letting me know, @tkeller. While we are waiting for a response from the developers, kindly contact our support pros here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Today, they are on leave but will be available otherwise from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST. Once you are connected with a live agent, ask for the "video queue."

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey I'm looping back, I have had the same issue across multiple productions that are on different volumes on our server. Fresh user install and fresh premiere install has not fixed the issue at this point.

I tried taking a look at that thread but I don't believe I have any auto save folders or search inquiries going in my project.
