Bugreport Show Clip keyframes not visible

Bugrapport voor Adobe Premiere Pro 2025

Titel:
🔹 "Right-click context menu truncated in floating Timeline panel — options like 'Show Clip Keyframes' are missing"

Beschrijving:
In Premiere Pro 2025, when the Timeline panel is undocked (floating), right-clicking on a clip displays a truncated context menu. The bottom items — such as “Show Clip Keyframes” — are not shown, and:

  • There is no scroll bar

  • The menu doesn't respond to mouse wheel or arrow keys

  • Users assume the function is missing

However, when the panel is docked back into the workspace, the full menu is shown, and missing options reappear — proving it’s a display/positioning issue rather than an actual feature gap.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Undock the Timeline panel (float it)

  2. Right-click on a video clip in the timeline

  3. Try to scroll or access “Show Clip Keyframes”

  4. Observe the missing bottom portion of the menu

Expected result:
The full menu should always be visible, either via dynamic resizing or a scrollable dropdown — even in floating panel mode.

Actual result:
The context menu is cut off at the bottom with no way to scroll or access key functionality.

Tested in:

  • Premiere Pro 2025 (latest release as of June 2025)

  • Windows 11

Casis not closed for me as having the exact same issue as M Habraken.  I am in 25.5.0 (Build 13) and none of the suggestions below have worked.  I could add a screen shot but it looks the same as the screen shot here already where the last thing on the menu at the bottom is "Reveal in Explorer' nothing below that where Show Clip Keyframes should be.  i have tried undocking the panel etc and it didn't show then or when redocked, nor did turning off and on the menu option in the timeline wrech icon settings.  Any help appreciated??

Hi @M. Habraken

It would be the Timeline Display Settings tool shaped like a wrench.

Do you mean with wrench icon the part circled in red in the picture? I found out, there I can activate it too.

Hi @M. Habraken
Are you able to see the wrench icon in the Timeline panel? When you click on that are you still not seeing the Show Clip Keyframes options?

Can you share a screen grab or capture of how you are seeing it?
