Comparison View & Color Match not working in latest Premiere Pro version

Hi,

Since updating to the latest version of Premiere Pro, the Comparison View (Lumetri Color → Color Wheels & Match) is no longer functioning correctly.

  • The reference frame slider does not navigate the timeline
  • It is impossible to properly select a reference frame
  • As a result, the automatic Color Match does not work

I have tested this with:

  • multiple sequences
  • different clips and formats
  • reference clips placed directly in the timeline

The issue persists consistently.

I also tried:

  • restarting Premiere
  • clearing media cache
  • switching renderer (GPU / Software Only)

No change.

This workflow was working correctly before the update, so it seems related to the latest version.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue or found a workaround?

Thanks

    Hi @Hugo32271336oxsc,

Thanks for the detailed report. Good news — this has been fixed in Premiere 26.2, which should be available in the release version soon.

Sorry for the frustration, and thanks for flagging it.

This is not fixed in 26.2 - function still does not work. Unable to scroll through timeline in comparison view, can only click ‘next’ clip which I do not have time for...

    We are now on 26.0.2.

    26.2 is still in beta.
